Summary: There is always victory in Christ Jesus. Life is full of battles but once in Christ, crises disappears as God arises for his children. Darkness has no Communion with Light.

LET GOD ARISE

Psalms 68:1

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

Our God is a man of war. He does not only fight his enemies, he also gives victory to his children even without a fight. He is the creator and owner of all things hence he is a victorious God.

The Word of God tells us in Exodus 15:3 that our God is a man of war.

Exodus 15:3

The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Our God wants us to call him in the days of trouble so he can deliver us. He is a God full of power and sovereign in all things. He says in Psalms 50:15.

Psalms 50:15

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Are you afflicted? Are you struggling with the enemy's torment? Are you being oppressed? God says call upon Him.

Psalm 68:1 says, "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him."

This verse is a call to action, inviting God to:

1. Arise: To stand up, awaken, or rise up in power.

2. Scatter His enemies: To defeat and disperse those opposing Him.

3. Cause His haters to flee: To make those who reject or oppose Him retreat in fear.

No doubt, this Psalms comes handy and makes God act swiftly in revenge when any of His children is faced by the enemy. It is

1. A prayer for God's intervention in times of trouble.

2. A declaration of faith in God's sovereignty.

3. A call to worship and acknowledge God's power.

To experience God's arising in our lives, consider:

1. Prayer: Cry out to God, inviting Him to move in your situation. Psalms 34:6 says

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

2. Faith: Trust in God's sovereignty and promises knowing too well that He cannot lie. The Bible says clearly that it is impossible for God to lie.

Hebrews 6:18

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

3. Obedience: Align your life with God's will and commands. Obedience to God's Word has remained a very veritable key to victory. It is a major qualification to eating the good of the land.

Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

4. Worship: Acknowledge God's power and majesty. Giving God glory due to Him certainly brings about continues victory. The Bible says in

2 Chronicles 20:22

And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

As we invite God to arise for our Victory, we must reflect on these questions.

1. What areas of our lives need God's intervention?

2. How can we demonstrate faith and trust in God's sovereignty?

3. What steps can we take to align our lives with God's will?

In all these things, we must remember that the greatest Victory in life is Victory over sin but thank God that Christ has given us the Victory by the reason of the shared blood at the Cross.

Do you need Victory all round, first step is come to Jesus. He is waiting. He is calling you. Invite Him into your life by praying this prayer and really mean it:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you as my personal Lord and Savior. I also confess that I am a sinner and I am ready to repent of my sins. Father, I come to you, accept me and be my personal Lord and Saviour as I declare that I am Born Again. Thank you Jesus for coming into my life.
