Learn to appreciate the efforts of others.

2- Mom taught me the value of church.

Children learn what parents model.

“And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7(NLT)

3- Mom taught me justice

Love is the strongest bond.

4- Mom taught me the value of forgiveness.

*Mom has made her mistakes and I have made mine. But, those are buried in the past.

*Mom seemed to always give more grace than she got. Sometimes she got the short end of the stick, but she always held on to the relationship.

“You must make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians 3:13(NLT)

Learn to give more grace than you receive from others.
