When the good Lord created mothers, He was into His sixth day of overtime, when an angel appeared and said,

"You're doing a lot of fiddling around on this one."

The Lord replied, "have you seen the specs on this order? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic; Have 180 moveable parts ... all replaceable; Run on black coffee and leftovers; Have a lap that disappears when she stands up; A kiss that can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointing love affair; And six pair of hands."

The angel shook her head slowly and said, "Six pair of hands? No way!"

"It's not the hands that are causing me problems," said the Lord. "It's the three pair of eyes that mothers have to have.

"One pair that sees through closed doors when she asks 'What are you kids doing in there?' when she already knows. Another in the back of her head that sees what she shouldn't, but what she needs to know, and of course the ones in front that look at a child when he goofs up and say, 'I understand and I love you,' Without so much as uttering a word. "I'm so close to creating something so close to myself. Already, I have one who heals herself when she is sick ...can feed a family of six on one pound of hamburger ...and get a nine year old to stand under a shower. Not only can she think, she can reason and compromise."

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the mother. "There's a leak," she pronounced, "I told you that you were trying to put too much in this model."

"That's not a leak," said the Lord, "it's a tear."

"What is it for?" asked the angel.

The Lord replied, "It's for joy, sadness, disappointment, pain, loneliness and pride."

"You're a genius!" shouted the angel.

With a somber look on his face, the Lord said, "I didn't put it there."

Psalm 56:8-9 8Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? 9When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

Lessons from Mothers Tears Psalm 56:8-9

1. Eves Tears Teach us to “Fulfill the call of God” despite super disappointments in our life.

• The first Tears that were cried were Eves she is called “The Mother of all Living” Eve suffered terrible grief when her son Cain murdered his brother Abel, yet despite these tragedies, Eve went on to fulfill her part in God's plan of populating the Earth. God had told Adam and Eve to multiply and replenish the Earth, Eve continued to fulfill the call of God we must as well.

2. Sarah’s Tears Teach us “We just have to wait on the Lord”.

• Sarah was barren. She conceived through a miracle in spite of her old age. Sarah was a good wife, a loyal helper and builder with Abraham. Her faith serves as a shining example for every person who has to wait on God to act. She just waited in hopes one day!

One day that prayer maybe answered, one day that soul maybe saved, one day that hope will happen be like Sarah just wait and one day!

3. Jochebed her tears tell us of an “Overwhelming Faith”. JOKE A BED

• The mother of Moses, is one of the underappreciated mothers in the Bible, yet she showed tremendous faith in God. she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

No doubt Jochebed had overwhelming faith to put her baby up for adoption, in hopes that child might have a better home, might receive what I could not give, might have a education, might have life or have a life. Consider today Mothers who have done this oh, how they must be in pain and regret, but also an overwhelming faith that God will take care of there child. Pray today for Mothers who have adopted their children and pray for those who put their child up for adoption.

4. Hannah’s tears teach us to “Never give up on God”.

• 13Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk 14and said to her, "How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine." 15"Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. 16Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief." Hannah never gave up on God and God gave her 5 more children
