A. INTRODUCTION

1. Remember B-Rations stand for Bible or Basic Rations. The basic diet to healthy Christianity.

a. Assurance

b. Bible

c. Prayer

d. Witnessing

2. Reproduction is God’s plan to continue life on earth. “After his kind” (8 times in Genesis 1). “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters” (Gen. 1:22).

3. God has a vision of many people worshipping Him. “Ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands” (Rev. 5:11). “Hast redeemed us . . . out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and

nation” (Rev. 5:9).

4. What God has done in us, we should reproduce in reproducers. “The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also”

(II Tim. 2:2).

a. Paul

b. Timothy

c. Faithful men

d. Others

B. WHAT HAS JESUS COMMANDED US TO DO?

1. Go where He sends us. “As my Father has sent Me, even so send I you” (John 20:21).

2. Go to every place. “Go ye into all the world” (Mark 16:15, KJV).

3. Give the gospel to every person. “Go . . . preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15, NKJV).

4. Get results. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matt. 28:19).

5. Witness. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

C. WHAT HAS JESUS PROMISED TO WITNESSES?

1. His presence. “I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age. Amen” (Matt. 28:20, NKJV).

2. His power. “You shall receive power . . . you shall be witnesses” (Acts 1:8, NKJV).

3. Persecution. “If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20).

D. WHAT MUST A PERSON KNOW TO BE SAVED?

1. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

a. Who: all. “For God so loved the world . . .” (John 3:16).

b. What: God’s love. “God is not willing that any should perish” (II Peter 3:10).

c. Begin with positive.

2. You are a sinner, i.e., cut off from God. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).

3. You are lost for eternity. “For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 6:23).

4. Christ took your punishment. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).

5. You must repent and believe in Christ. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9).

6. To believe means to receive Jesus Christ. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

E. WAYS TO WITNESS FOR CHRIST

1. By your silent testimony. “And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it” (Acts 4:14).

2. By your everyday conversation.

3. By presenting the Gospel. “They that were scattered abroad, went everywhere preaching the word” (Acts 8:4).

4. By giving a printed message. Tracts, books, email, articles, newspaper, etc.

5. By pointing out their weaknesses. “I even found an altar . . . TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you” (Acts 17:23).

6. By inviting to church. “Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear the things . . . of God” (Acts 10:33).

7. By sharing your testimony. “Once I was blind, but now I see.”

Elements of a Testimony

• Before your conversion.

• How were you converted?

• What happened in you?

8. By blunt statement. Wife told her husband, “Then you are going to Hell.”

9. Prayer walking. Praying on site with insight. “How can I pray for you?”

10. Create need. You must get them lost, before they will accept your Savior. If you were to come to the door of Heaven, and God asked, “Why should I let you in?” What would you say?

If you have never really accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, would you do it right now? Do not delay or put it off. If you would like to receive Christ by faith, pray this simple prayer in your heart:

Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross, and rose again the third day. I repent of my sins. By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior. You promised to save me, and I believe You, because You are God and cannot lie. I believe right now that the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior, and that all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood. I thank You, dear Lord, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
