Leaving 2007

Jesus said in Mat 5:18 For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. This verse speaks that the Lord knows the least detail and will see it accomplished.

Lots of things happened in 2007. Some experienced victory, some experienced defeat, some experienced hardship , and some experienced difficult situations. 2007 might be considered the best year and the hardest for some .

We should say that all is not finished in one victory or one defeat. In our Lord Jesus , we can assure ourselves that the best is still instore for all of us.

We should received a fresh anointing, a new revelation, and renewed passion from the Lord because He holds what is instore in 2008.

We should leave everything in 2007 except our faith on Gods promises. He will fulfill every promise up to the smallest detail. Don’t live on your victory, press for a new one, and don’t live in a defeated position but arise in an expectant posture. As we leave last year , lets face 2008 holding on Gods promises. I write here some promises we can hold on as we face 2008 courageouslyERemember our Lord will fulfill it to the smallest detail

1. God is the one who began this good work in you, and I am certain that he won’t stop before it is complete on the day that Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6) God’s character is wondrously illustrated in this verse.His patience to you equals His faithfulness. There are lot of things that was changed in you. Don’t say that you have no hope in that immature attitude. Lot of things was change in your life so don’t loss hope.You will breakthrough one day and defeat that immature attitude that degrade you. Don’t give up! The One who called you is faithful.

2.He will never leave you nor forseek you.(Hebrews13:5). You might not receive support from someone you expect as you face this coming year ,but remember He is with you in that struggle to lift you up. Ask his support and guidance as you navigate the road to 2008.

Jesus will be with you in that difficult situation. Don’t ever think you are alone. Call on Him and don’t dwell on the voice of the enemy that you are alone. God will be with you. He will be beside you until the endEatthew 28:20.

3.He will keep you no matter what danger you will face. His love will abide in you. Romans 8;28-29 speaksEFor I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our LordE God loves you and He will see that you advance and arrive for His planned destination for you in 2008.
