Summary: Lean on the only one who can help in all our needs.

Learning to lean on Jesus

Finding more power.

You would have never dreamed it was therer.

John 13: 23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

1. We can hear the truth of his word.

Psalms 138: 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

His word is an absolute fact

You can have faith and trust the word of God.

We can try our faith by the word.

We can share his word with our friends.

2. We should love the time of worship.

Psalms 100: 1 (A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Worship should be a delight not drudge

We should have a desire not dread.

Worship can be development not a defeat.

3. We should learn to trust his will.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Find his will for your life.

We lean through service.

You can forsake Gods will and suffer the consequence.

4. We can lead triumphant life.

Roams 8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Walk in his light.

Walk in his love.

Walk in his liberty.

5. We can help lighten the weary.

:Galatians 6: 1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

We can shoulder responsibility as belivers.

We can share with our brethren.

We can rejoice in our many blessings.

6. We can live to tell his worth.

Philippians 1: 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Tell of his grace tht saved us.

Tell of his greatness that secures us

Tell of his goodness that satisfies us

7. Or you can look forward to timeless wrath.

Revelations 6:

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Be saved today are be sorry tomorrow

Receive Christ today are regret tomorrow

Its your choice tomorrow there may not be a chance.
