IT IS THROUGH STRUGGLE THAT MANY OF US LEARN HOW TO FLY I DON'T KNOW IF YOU REALIZED IT YET
Life is a struggle. From the moment we are born until the day we die, we face various challenges and difficulties. However, it is through these struggles that we discover our strength and learn how to overcome. In this sermon, we will explore the concept of struggling but still winning, finding hope and victory in the midst of our trials.
There once was a man who came across a cocoon of an emperor moth. Intrigued, he took the cocoon home to witness the moth's emergence. As he observed, he noticed that the moth was struggling to break free from the cocoon. Concerned, the man decided to help by cutting open the cocoon. To his surprise, the moth emerged with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was unable to fly properly. The man realized that the struggle and effort to break free from the cocoon was necessary for the moth's wings to develop fully. Sometimes, struggle is what helps us grow and soar.
Life is not always easy. We face troubles from every direction. We may feel trapped, confused, persecuted, or knocked down. But even in the midst of these struggles, we can find hope and strength in Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him enables us to endure and overcome.
As believers, we have a treasure within us - the power of God. This power surpasses our own abilities and sustains us in times of trouble. It is through this power that we can face our struggles with confidence, knowing that God is with us.
In the midst of our struggles, we must learn to walk by faith. This means putting our trust in God and not relying solely on what we see or feel. We must worship Him wholeheartedly, giving Him our best even when we are hurting. Our walk with God should be characterized by faith, knowing that He is always with us and will guide us through every trial.
Life's battles can be daunting, but we are called to fight the good fight of faith. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. We must stand firm in our beliefs, trusting in God's power to overcome any obstacle. Though we may face persecution and setbacks, we can rise again because Jesus has already secured our victory on the cross.
When we face challenges, we may get knocked down. But the true measure of failure is not in falling down; it is in staying down. As children of God, we have the strength to rise again. We must not let setbacks define us but rather use them as opportunities for growth and resilience. When we get back up, dust ourselves off, and continue running the race, we are demonstrating our faith and determination.
Life is indeed a struggle, but we can find hope and victory in Jesus Christ. Through Him, we have the power to overcome any challenge that comes our way. Let us remember that our struggles are not in vain; they shape us and teach us valuable lessons. So, keep pressing on, keep fighting, and keep believing. In the midst of your struggle, know that you are still winning.
