I. EXORDIUM:

Do you know that we are living in the last hour?

II. AUDIENCE PROFILE:

To show proofs that we're living in the last hour.

IV. TEXT:

1 John 2:18 (Amplified Bible)

2:18 Boys (lads), it is the last time (hour, the end of this age). And as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen, which confirms our belief that it is the final (the end) time.

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS, that in these last times You have given us a sign of Your return. Even so LORD JESUS come soon.

VI. TITLE:

Last hour

VII. EXPLICATION:

A. Author: Apostle John

D. To whom written: The Church

E. Main Theme: GOD is Life, Light, and Righteous Love.

F. Keywords: Fellowship, know, love, Knowing, with certainty

G. Key verse: 1 John 5:13

1 John 5:13 (Amplified Bible)

5:13 I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

From last days to last hour.

Acts 2:17 (Amplified Bible)

2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams.

A. Last hour for antichrist is coming

"Boys (lads), it is the last time (hour, the end of this age). And as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming,"

Last or "eschatos" in Greek meaning:

1. farthest, final, end of, latter end

2. lowest, uttermost

Time or "hora" in Greek meaning: hour

1 John 2:22-23 (Amplified Bible)

2:22 Who is [such a] liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah)? He is the antichrist (the antagonist of Christ), who [habitually] denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.

2:23 No one who [habitually] denies (disowns) the Son even has the Father. Whoever confesses (acknowledges and has) the Son has the Father also.

An antichrist is someone who habitually denies or acknowledge that JESUS is the CHRIST, Savior or Messiah and also denies the FATHER GOD.

What do we do while waiting for CHRIST?

1. Remind yourselves the bible lessons you received and heard, obey them and change your mind thru them

Revelation 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

3:3 So call to mind the lessons you received and heard; continually lay them to heart and obey them, and repent. In case you will not rouse yourselves and keep awake and watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know or suspect at what hour I will come.

2. Revere GOD and give Him Glory

Revelation 14:7 (Amplified Bible)

14:7 And he cried with a mighty voice, Revere God and give Him glory (honor and praise in worship), for the hour of His judgment has arrived. Fall down before Him; pay Him homage and adoration and worship Him Who created heaven and earth, the sea and the springs (fountains) of water.

B. Last hour even now many antichrists have arisen

"even now many antichrists have arisen, which confirms our belief that it is the final (the end) time"

1 John 2:22 (Amplified Bible)

2:22 Who is [such a] liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah)? He is the antichrist (the antagonist of Christ), who [habitually] denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.

1 Timothy 4:1 (Amplified Bible)

4:1 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach,

1 John 4:3 (Amplified Bible)

4:3 And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, ever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [nonconfession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world.
