While receiving should never be the ultimate motive for giving, it’s no surprise that generous people seem to always have their needs met and are always blessed. In this message we will get to know biblical truth and ways to prosperity.

PAY YOUR TITHE

In the book of Malachi, the Bible says, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.”

There are some who believe this act is relegated only to the Old Testament; however this is not true. The New Testament says, “God loves a cheerful giver,”

Therefore God expects NT believers to give freely, not under compulsion of the law. Giving God a percentage of your earnings activates His blessing to increase and expand the remaining you hold on to.

Give to God’s work

One of the greatest keys to prosperity is to give to the furtherance of or to promote God’s work. This includes giving your money yet, not limited to money.

1. Pouring resources into missionaries,

2. Serving on projects and various ministries

3. Readily availing yourself, talents and resources to the church

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you which projects He desires you to give to. If you give bountifully, you will reap bountifully this is a Biblical law.

Give to ministers in God’s vineyard

When Paul speaks to the Philippians, he tells them that their giving to him returned a blessing to their account.

Again, this is not to be done out of compulsion, but as a willing act to show honor to your pastor and/or ministry leaders.

Don't be deceived, every ministry born out of God has its own grace and likewise the minister of God in charge of that ministry.

Therefore, When you sow into your spiritual leaders and meet their needs, you benefit from the grace given to their ministry.

THE PRINCIPLE IN TAPPING FROM THE MINISTER'S GRACE IS SUCH THAT YOU ARE BETTER POSITIONED TO RECEIVE THE MINISTER'S BLESSINGS WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE MINISTER WHO FEEDS YOU THAN A VISITING PASTOR OR SOMEONE YOU ADMIRE.

SO LEARN TO BE A BLESSING TO YOUR SPIRITUAL HEAD AND WERE YOU RECEIVE NOURISHMENT FROM AND GOD WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU REAP A MINISTER'S BLESSING.

Give to the poor

The Bible says, “Whoever is generous to a poor man lends to The Lord, and He will repay him for his good deed.” Proc. 19:17

When you come across people who are genuinely in need make sure that you be of help to them.

Yes there are people who may be out there to dupe people but still the are people who genuinely need help.

My own story ( lost my money in a car and I had to exchange my phone for

ghs 5. 00 ($ 1.00) at Kwame Nkrumah Circle before I could get home.

For those of us in Africa and of African descend there's always the fear that some will use that money to work against us................... but I say this to you if there's such fears, rely on the Holy Spirit to guide your giving in this area.

Giving should be done wisely – whethere we are solving a problem of hunger, distress, lack, or whatever -- Because we should not be a tool to aid complacency or laziness.

2Thessalonians 3:10 -15

10For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

11.For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.

12 Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

14. And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.

15. Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother

Give to your parents

Honor your parents with your resources, even if they don’t necessarily need money.

Remember them and make them feel specially loved as often as you can.

God’s first command with a promise echoes this,

Deu 5:16

“ “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

1. Sowing into your parents in this way is a major key to prosperity and long life.

2.Again, it ensures that you to are not left alone in your old age.

It's a principle he who give receives. So once you sown into your parents life, you have gone into agreement with God that your children should also care for you.
