KINGDOM OF GOD!

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

There is 4 basic truths about the Kingdom of God!

I. Jesus Christ is King.

Revelation 19:16 (KJV) And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

A. We are call and chosen by the King to be part of His Kingdom

Revelation 17:14 ......... for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

II. The whole universe belongs to Him.

Colossians 1:16-17 (KJV) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

III. God has a constitution, the Bible.

1 Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

A. Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet-anchor of your liberties. Write its precepts in your hearts, and practise them in your lives. U..S. Grant.

IV. God has citizens in His Kingdom.

John 3:5 (KJV) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

A. God makes us citizens of His Kingdom when we receive Christ as our personal saviour.

Ephesians 2:19 Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the saints and members of God's household,
