INTRODUCTION:

Supernatural speed is a divine empowerment that enables a man to achieve in a short time what would naturally take many years. It is the grace that brings divine acceleration, helping believers to surpass natural limitations and overtake those who have gone ahead. In the realm of the Spirit, speed is not necessarily about haste but about divine progress and timely fulfilment of destiny.

The story of Elijah outrunning Ahab’s chariot in 1 Kings 18:46 is a striking picture of what happens when God's hand comes upon a man. What would have taken many hours by human effort was accomplished in a flash by divine enablement. Supernatural speed neutralises delay and redeems lost time.

However, this kind of speed is not automatically accessed. There are principles, spiritual disciplines, and divine keys that unlock it. Understanding and applying these keys positions you to move with the pace of heaven and arrive at your divine destination without struggle or stagnation.

1. DIVINE ENCOUNTER WITH GOD

a) Supernatural Speed Begins with Divine Presence

Elijah outran Ahab because the hand of the Lord came upon him (1 Kings 18:46).

b) Intimacy Births Acceleration

It is in the place of communion that men receive divine instructions and empowerment (Exodus 33:14).

c) The Presence of God Cancels Delay

Where God is, delay cannot stand (Psalm 114:3-7).

d) The Encounter Must Be Sustained

Continuous encounter sustains continuous motion (John 15:5).

Biblical Example: Moses’ forty days encounter empowered him for leadership (Exodus 34:29-35).

2. OBEDIENCE TO DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS

a) Every Instruction is a Vehicle for Acceleration

Elijah had to gird his loins as instructed (1 Kings 18:46).

b) Obedience Aligns You with Divine Timing

When you follow divine timing, you arrive at destiny on schedule (Genesis 22:16-18).

c) Partial Obedience Delays Progress

King Saul lost divine favour due to disobedience (1 Samuel 15:22-23).

d) Obedience Releases Divine Force

Following God's word releases heaven’s resources (Deuteronomy 28:1).

Biblical Example: Naaman received healing after full obedience (2 Kings 5:14).

3. THE FORCE OF FAVOUR

a) Favour is the Lubricant for Speed

One day of favour is better than years of labour (Esther 2:17).

b) Favour Opens Doors that Accelerate Destiny

Divine speed often comes through access granted by favour (Psalm 102:13).

c) Favour Makes Men Recommend and Remember You

Joseph was remembered suddenly due to divine favour (Genesis 41:14).

d) Favour Positions You Where Effort Fails

It's not by power nor by might, but by divine enablement (Zechariah 4:6-7).

Biblical Example: Ruth’s rise was by favour with Boaz (Ruth 2:10-13).

4. THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

a) The Spirit Enables What Flesh Cannot Do

Elijah moved by the Spirit beyond human limitation (1 Kings 18:46).

b) The Spirit Quickens Your Steps

The Holy Ghost can compress time and fast-track destiny (Romans 8:11).

c) Supernatural Speed is One of the Spirit’s Benefits

The Spirit leads into divine appointments and accelerated purpose (Acts 8:29-39).

d) You Must Remain in Tune with the Spirit

Carnality hinders speed; spirituality enhances it (Galatians 5:16).

Biblical Example: Philip was supernaturally transported after ministering to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:39-40).

CONCLUSION:

God is not bound by time; He can collapse seasons into moments and move a man from the back to the front in an instant. Supernatural speed is your covenant right in Christ, but it must be accessed through understanding and engagement. The hand of the Lord is still available to rest on men who desire to fulfil destiny quickly and gloriously.

Refuse to crawl through life. You are ordained to run and not be weary. By encounter, obedience, favour, and the Spirit, your destiny shall gain divine momentum. Now is the time to run with the strength of the Almighty.
