Deuteronomy 6:1-4 (Amplified Bible)
6:1 NOW THIS is the instruction, the laws, and the precepts which the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land to which you go to possess it,
6:2 That you may [reverently] fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, and keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.
6:3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and be watchful to do them, that it may be well with you and that you may increase exceedingly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
6:4 Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord].
VIII. MAIN BODY:
Proverbs 1:8 (Amplified Bible)
1:8 My son, hear the instruction of your father; reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother.
Instruction or "musar" in Hebrew means:
1. chastisement - correction; punishment; pain inflicted for punishment and correction, either by stripes or otherwise.
2. reproof, warning or instruction; also restraint
3. bond, chastening, chastisement, check, correction, discipline, doctrine, instruction, rebuke
Teaching or "torah torah" in Hebrew means:
1. precept or statute
2. Decalogue or Pentateuch: - law
Teaching is already established long before mother can teach it. Father has the sole responsibility of creating from conception the family's law and doctrine, and all the mother can do is teach it, enforce with love to her children.
A. JESUS has given me all things.
"Only take heed, and guard your life diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your [mind and] heart all the days of your life."
The signature "Aleph-Tav" is in between "forget" and "the things". If JESUS is not on the things you desire, forget it, just remember JESUS. This is the correct placement of JESUS - He is in the center of all things and us.
Forget = JESUS = the things.
When it's like this Forget = the things = JESUS, the things in our life become our idols and thorns, that stands in the way of GOD and us.
Luke 8:14 (Amplified Bible)
8:14 And as for what fell among the thorns, these are [the people] who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked and suffocated with the anxieties and cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not ripen (come to maturity and perfection).
Remember all things are not beneficial for us, only things that will benefit us, GOD had already given them to us.
