Contributed by Richard Papafio on Jan 28, 2018 (message contributor)
Summary: When we keep His commandments the world sees love they can't comprehend in our hearts and when they get to know this love is Jesus they will desire to follow Him and be a part of us to receive salvation and not die
May the peace of the Lord be with you.
Topic: KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS
John 14:15King James Version (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a very simple instruction that will bring joy to His heart, glorify the Father and give us the perfect life we so much desire and struggle for on a daily basis.
The instruction is found in our text above; that we should keep His commandments if we love Him.
His commandments were put into two parts; firstly, love for God Almighty and then love for our fellow man.
Beloved when we obey or observe these two commandments that talk about love, we observe every single commandment Jesus gave to us.
Jesus makes us understand that our exhibition of His love in our hearts is what will make people know we are His disciples.
We also have to know that, when people see this love and get to know He is the reason, they will love to become part of us and follow Him. This is a means of evangelization to win souls for the Kingdom of God.
You can therefore not love Jesus and not show it. It is an error and your love for Him is very questionable. You love Him and show It by keeping His commandments.
When you live with the mindset that says *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and depend on Precious Holy Spirit to lead you, your natural course of flow will be all about doing what pleases Him.
Prayer: Father strengthen me to keep the commandments of Jesus that many would through this see His love in me and desire Him so they come to Him and be saved from eternal damnation in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
