Justified

Summary: Justified by faith.
Intro: What does it mean to be justified?
1: to put someone or something in a proper relationship
a) Romans 5:1
b) being justified by faith
c) being put in a proper relationship with God the Father by our faith in Christ
Point: Some teach and some believe that we can correct or perfect ourselves within ourselves, this my freinds is a HUGE LIE!!!! The scripture teaches us that only a realtionship with Jesus Christ can do these things for us in the eyes of an Almighty God. That realtionship is based on our faith in the Lord.
2: What is a proper realtionship with God?
a) starts with faith of course, for a definition of faith see Hebrews 11:1
b) peace that calm confidence that Romans 8:28 gives to us
c) access to God the Father at all times through our Lord, to bring every aspect of our lives to him no matter how big or small they may seem to us.
Point: The condition of our relationship with God depends solely upon us. How do we treat the Holy Spirit? Do we hinder it? Do we quench it? Are we apt to allow the Spirit to work and change our lives and how we operate everyday? Being justified by faith is allowing our faith to take hold and charge in our lives, like the saints of old or the disciples who forsook all and followed the Lord.
Body: Peace
1: Freedom
a) we have peace with God
b) Romans 5:1 the sinner set free, the debt forgiven,
c) the seperation between us and God filled by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
Point: The world is full of turmoil and chaos, look at your evening news broadcast. Our lives can become not much different from what we see on t.v. Everyday a constant battle and struggle, nights of worry and doubt, fear and heartache. My Bible teaches me that he gave me a not a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7 peace in Jesus Christ is peace indeed when you trust and believe that he has justified you and perfected you in the eyes of God.
2: Access
a) Romans 5:2
b) Jesus gives us access by faith in him to a grace and hope above our understanding
c) we have a pass, a master key given to us by the master himself
Point: Without this access granted to us by faith in Christ ours would be a hopeless and sad faith, we are granted access to the holiest of holy places through Jesus Christ. WE have the blessing of being able to call upon the Lord anytime, with any matter. God has given us the backsatge pass to the greatest show ever. Question is do you have the faith to walk through the door and into the arms of Jesus?
Closing: We stand in grace and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
If it wasn't for grace no one would've gotten a second chance. If it wasn't for grace there would be no rejoice, no hope, no glory. Without grace there could be no justification, no peace, no fellowship.
This is the opinion of a man saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes grace is all you got, when you realize that your understanding becomes a little clearer. Grace is what saves lives and plucks souls up from hell, it doesn't see mistakes or shortcomings, it doesn't remind you of failure. It always welcomes you and is always seeking you, you have it even when you don't think you need it, and it's there even if you don't want it.
Romans 5:8
I think the church has something to SHOUT about this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
