Summary: Situation at times may be critical and you may think there is no way out but opt for the ‘easy way’ but never ever give in to pressure! Stay true in the heat.

Justice! Only Justice!

Deuteronomy 16:20”Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the LORD your God is giving you.”

I was at the railway station along with my husband, rushing to save the life of a young girl who was demon possessed and I just had thirty minutes to book my tickets. The counter was closed! I stood there determined! God would show me the way! An elderly man inside the ticket counter looked at the desperate look on my face and gestured to come into his office – I thought ‘wow’ and stepped inside his cabin. He asked for the details of my journey and immediately pulled out a receipt book and said coolly, ‘besides the ticket give me this much amount and collect your ticket.’ I asked him what was the ‘extra’ amount for, he gave me a vague reply and showed me the way to the unreserved compartment. Situation at times may be critical and you may think there is no way out but opt for the ‘easy way’ but never ever give in to pressure! Paying a small extra amount for a good cause might seem innocuous; nevertheless, bribe is bribe! Stay true in the heat! All the while during the conversation with the railway officer, I was receiving frantic calls from the family in crisis; undeterred, I picked up a ticket from the general counter and boarded the unreserved compartment. I knew I had to face several hours of severe ordeal, sleepless night and pain, yet, I could see the smile on HIS FACE! Justice! And only Justice, you shall follow! The demon possessed girl from a village was brought to the church, I stayed with her in the pastor’s house, got her delivered from the clutches of the devils, started a church in her house in the village and returned back to the glory of God. Now read the reward when you follow justice –“ you may live and inherit the land that the LORD your God is giving you!”

Do not compromise whatsoever! Follow what is right! Do what is righteous! A good Christian believer, working in an automobile company, with a good intention of helping a servant of God offered to get the car of the man of God serviced under the privilege and discount offered for employees. The man of God rejected it! It is wrong for an outside party to use the facilities offered by the company for the employees. Are you listening?

Likewise, when friends with ‘military canteen card’ offered to purchase items for me from the military canteen, I forthrightly refused and said that it was an unrighteous act. Buying provisions from the Government ration shop for cheap rate is also an abominable act; let me tell you, I write here what I see church-going Christians do in everyday life.

You may say, ‘Hey, I used the ‘one way route’ because I was late and had to rush to church!’ It is wrong. Justice! And only Justice, you shall follow!

May be in your distressed condition of being jobless for long, you made slight changes in your resume, hiked your years of experience, added a couple of fake technical qualifications; yet, they are all abomination in the sight of God. Justice! And only Justice, you shall follow!
