It is with delight and great joy I welcome you to the year of Joyful Living in God's Embrace! May the Lord give you the ability, patience, the resilience and capacity to dwell in his presence this year and enjoy all the encompassing benefits in Jesus name.

Introduction

I am delighted to welcome you to the year of DWELLING IN HIS PRESENCE! May the Lord give you the ability, patience, resilience, and capacity to dwell in His presence this year and enjoy all the encompassing benefits in Jesus' name.

The Bible tells us, 'The Lord replied, 'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.''' (Exodus 33:14) Moses understood the importance of God's presence and said, 'If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?' (Exodus 33:15-16)

Advantages of Dwelling in God's Presence

Power: When you dwell in God's presence, you tap into His divine power, which provides everything you need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).

Safety: Dwelling in God's presence offers refuge and protection. As the Psalmist says, 'Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge' (Psalm 16:1).

Guidance: When you dwell in God's presence, He will guide and direct your steps (Exodus 33:14). You can trust Him to show you the right path.

Success: Dwelling in God's presence brings rest and ensures your success (Exodus 33:14; Joshua 1:8). With God on your side, you cannot fail.

Abundance: Every good thing comes from God (Psalm 16:2; James 1:17). When you dwell in His presence, you can expect multiple blessings and gifts from Him.

Deliverance: God is our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Dwelling in His presence guarantees deliverance from every adversity.

Joy: In God's presence, there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). You will experience a joy that surpasses all understanding.

Healing: Dwelling in God's presence brings healing and wholeness. As the Scriptures say, 'I will take sickness away from the midst of thee' (Exodus 23:25).

Security: Dwelling in God's presence provides security and protection. You can find refuge under His wings (Psalm 91:1-2).

Hearing God's voice: In His presence, you will hear God's voice clearly. As the Psalmist says, 'Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge' (Psalm 19:2).

Strength: When you dwell in God's presence, your strength is renewed (Isaiah 40:31). You will have the strength to overcome any challenge that comes your way.

Prosperity: Dwelling in God's presence gives you access to His abundant blessings. Jesus said, 'Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you' (Matthew 7:7).

Eternal life: Dwelling in God's presence on earth ensures that you will dwell with Him for eternity. Jesus said, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me' (John 14:6).

Disadvantages of Not Dwelling in God's Presence

Failure: Failing to dwell in God's presence means excluding Him from your plans and ultimately leads to failure. Those who refuse to seek God's guidance are setting themselves up for failure.

Lack of access to God's blessings: If you are unwilling to dwell in God's presence, you will miss out on His abundant blessings. Obedience and dwelling in His presence go hand in hand.

God's absence: When we neglect dwelling in God's presence, He may withdraw from us. As the prophet Ezekiel warns, 'Therefore, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, I will withdraw from you' (Ezekiel 5:11).

Conclusion

To dwell in God's presence, we must consistently desire Him and engage in spiritual activities such as prayer, fasting, and meditating on His word. It is through these practices that we deepen our relationship with Him and experience His presence in our lives.

In conclusion, I encourage you to choose God and dwell in His presence. Seek His divine path for your life, and you will find true happiness and fulfillment. Remember, dwelling in God's presence is not just a one-time decision but a daily commitment. May this year be a year of dwelling in His presence and experiencing His abundant blessings. Shalom.
