Psalm 105:13-25 Joseph's Psalm

1. The People -

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

2. The Protection -

14 he suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

3. The Prohibition -

15 saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

An Abiding Statement - 15 saying,

An Aborting Statement - Touch not mine anointed,

An Abounding Statement - and do my prophets no harm.

4. The Punishment -

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land he brake the whole staff of bread.

It Was - Divine - 16 Moreover he called for a famine

Deliberate - he called for it,

Direct - upon the land: (Egypt and Canaan)

Determined - he brake,

Dire - the whole staff of bread.

5. The Prophet -

His Presentation - 17 He sent a man before them even Joseph

His Preparation - 17 who was sold for a servant:

His Provocation - 18 whose feet they hurt with fetters:he was laid in iron:

His Preservation - 19 until the time that his word came:

He learned -

Patience - 19 until the time that his word came:

Perseverence - the word of the Lord tried him.

Privilege - 20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free

Prominence - 21 made him lord of his house, ruler of all his substance

Preeminence - 22 to bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

Providence - 23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham -

Gen. 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Prudence -

24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies

6. The Problem -

25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

7. The Plan - 26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
