Do you think about JESUS?

Yes. I'm focused on Him.

Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 9:4 (Amplified Bible)

Matthew 9:4 (King James Version)

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

A. JESUS sees our thoughts

"But Jesus, knowing (seeing) their thoughts,"

Psalms 44:21 (Amplified Bible)

Would not God discover this? For He knows the secrets of the heart.

John 6:61 (Amplified Bible)

But Jesus, knowing within Himself that His disciples were complaining and protesting and grumbling about it, said to them: Is this a stumbling block and an offense to you? [Does this upset and displease and shock and scandalize you?]

John 6:64 (Amplified Bible)

But [still] some of you fail to believe and trust and have faith. For Jesus knew from the first who did not believe and had no faith and who would betray Him and be false to Him.

Hebrews 4:12-13 (Amplified Bible)

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

Revelation 2:23 (Amplified Bible)

And I will strike her children (her proper followers) dead [thoroughly exterminating them]. And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves.

Jeremiah 17:10 (Amplified Bible)

I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

JESUS CHRIST is GOD ALMIGHTY who knows our hearts and thoughts and we can't hide anything from Him.

B. Our hearts are filled with evil and malice

"said, Why do you think evil and harbor malice in your hearts?"

Ezekiel 38:10 (Amplified Bible)

Thus says the Lord God: At the same time thoughts shall come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.

Acts 5:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart that you should lie to and attempt to deceive the Holy Spirit, and should [in violation of your promise] withdraw secretly and appropriate to your own use part of the price from the sale of the land?

As long as it remained unsold, was it not still your own? And [even] after it was sold, was not [the money] at your disposal and under your control? Why then, is it that you have proposed and purposed in your heart to do this thing? [How could you have the heart to do such a deed?] You have not [simply] lied to men [playing false and showing yourself utterly deceitful] but to God.

Acts 5:9 (Amplified Bible)

Then Peter said to her, How could you two have agreed and conspired together to try to deceive the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out [also].
