Jesus Is The Word Of God

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

One of Jesus many names is the Word of God. This verse states that Jesus (The Word) was in the beginning, He was present at the creation of everything that was created. Jesus (The Word) was there because He was (is) God.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (I John 5:7)

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 19:13-16

When Jesus returns in His glory, He will be called the Word of God, He will also be called King of Kings and Lord of Lords. If you can honestly read this and not believe Jesus is God then you are truly walking in deception. The Bible is very explicit about Jesus identity and position; He is Lord of all. To the Jehovah’s Witness Jesus is Michael the Archangel, the Muslims say he is a prophet of God 2nd to Muhammad, The Mormons say he is Lucifer’s brother, and to the New Ager’s he was an enlightened master that found the “Christ Aura”. Jesus is much more than any of these interpretations. Jesus is the Son of the Living God!

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Col. 1:16-19

If ALL fulness dwells in Christ that would make Him co-equal with God. If He rose from the dead will all power in His hands that would make Him God wouldn’t it?

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matt. 28:18

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus as humble and meek as He appeared did not deny His position as God. Read the scriptures for yourself and be enlightened. If you want to know all there is to know about Jesus Christ, YOU MUST search the scriptures. The reason people are duped by groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses is because of a lack of knowledge of the scriptures. If you refuse to study the Bible for yourself, you may become a victim of false teaching! Every Christian must be a student of the scriptures. The primary way Satan will distract you is through the avenue of deceit and deception.
