Summary: Christmas is about Miracles and A Baby born of a Virgin and how God became a man!

Luke 2:1-14……. In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. This was the first census that took place while Cyrenius was governor of Syria. And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

So what is the Christmas season all about?

We hear a lot about a Santa Claus, Black Friday, And Mariah Carey singing all I want for Christmas is You.

However; Christmas is about Gods Love , Gods Love for The Outcast, Forgiveness, Redemption it’s about a Promise... God keeps His Promises, Christmas is about Miracles and A Baby born of a Virgin and how God became a man!

Its also the most money making season for our country and all though it’s also a season with A low rate of suicide, Depression is high and the reason is because people don’t know Jesus!

They know of Him but they don’t know Him if any people in the world should be happy its Gods people we have a reason to celebrate when we remember the reason for the season...

Its about Love. John 3:16 For God so loved the world…

Eph 3:18-19 The apostle Paul writes about a Love that is so High,Deep, and so Wide that it could reach save and deliver anyone from The uppermost to The Gutter-most

Somebody (God) loves you Jesus He loves you, He loves us He loves all of me and all of you and there is no reason not to be happy this Christmas season we have been adopted into a royal family we are going to Heaven all things work for our good no matter how bad they seem. It's a win, win situation

Is.54:17: No weapon formed against us will prosper Rom.8:28 says what?It says that All things work together for The Good... as the people of God its Christmas every day we should always be Jolly and for sure we should be Grateful.

Christmas is a time to forgive! Eph.4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, Forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you! This is the very reason why the Child was born so that all humanity could be forgiven. That’s what Christmas is all about and an unforgiving Christian is an oxymoron ; One of the greatest sins in the church may be a lack of forgiveness, which stems from pride, and it stems from not preaching the gospel to ourselves….. Christmas is not the time to hold on to grudges and un-forgiveness it’s a time to forgive!

I remember going to places where certain family members had to be escorted in and out of family gatherings; un-forgiveness is an ugly thing and as unbeknownst as it is to some un-forgiveness even makes you look ugly, and it looks twice as bad on Christians

Christmas is a time to FORGIVE! I know a man who was so bitter because his wife left him he never forgave her as a result his body started falling apart on him rapidly and he died...un-forgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die....

Christmas is a time to give! For God so loved the world he gave.

Now what happens with a lot of people is they get all bummed out because they can’t give the way that they would like to but, don’t let that take your joy away you still have the greatest gift which is Salvation everlasting life and I don’t know about you but that’s worth more than all the gold and silver and possessions in the world.
