Summary: Since the birth of Jesus has arrived now what should we do?

“Jesus Is Born… Now What?”

Christmas morning is full of joy—lights, songs, gifts, celebration. We proclaim, “Christ is born!” But once the wrapping paper is thrown away and the nativity scenes are packed up, a deeper question rises:

Jesus is born… now what?

What does His birth mean for us on December 26th, January 1st, and every ordinary Tuesday after that?

The birth of Jesus is not the end of a story. It’s the beginning of one.

1. Jesus is born Now What?—We Receive the Gift

Luke 2 tells us the shepherds hurried to see the child. They didn’t just hear the news—they responded.

• The birth of Jesus demands a response.

• Not admiration from a distance Not seasonal sentiment But receiving Him

John 1:12 says, “To all who received Him… He gave the right to become children of God.”

• Christmas isn’t just about a baby in a manger. It’s about a Savior who wants to be born in you.

2. Jesus is born Now What?—We Carry the News

• The shepherds didn’t stay at the manger. They went out “glorifying and praising God” and telling everyone what they had seen. When Jesus is born, silence is no longer an option.

• The world is hungry for hope People are desperate for peace Many feel unseen, unloved, and unworthy

• The birth of Jesus turns ordinary people into messengers.

You don’t need a pulpit.

You don’t need a degree.

You just need a story of what Jesus has done in you.

3. Jesus is born Now What?—We Follow the Light

• The wise men saw a star and followed it. They didn’t know every detail. They didn’t have a map. But they moved toward the light they had.

• Faith begins with a step.

• God often gives us a small light—a nudge, a conviction, a calling.

• We don’t need the whole plan. We just need to follow the light we’ve been given.

4. Jesus is born Now What?—We Make Room There was no room in the inn, but there must be room in us.

• Jesus’ birth invites us to: Make room in our schedules

• Make room in our priorities Make room in our hearts

5. Jesus is born Now What?—We Live Like He Came In celebration

• Hope should rise Fear should loosen Love should deepen

• Forgiveness should flow Compassion should grow we live differently

6. Jesus is born Now what?

• Let’s receive him, Share Him, Follow Him, Make room for Him

Jesus is born… now what?

• Live like He came for you—because He did
