“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: & the government shall be upon his shoulder: & his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6 KJV.
"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls & of goats should take away sins". Hebrews 10:4 KJV.
The insufficiency of atonement that'll present man spotless, guiltiness, blameless left a major universal gap in the works of reconciliation. All sacrifices, religious rites failed & fell short of the glory of God. All human skills is vain, efforts, self-discipline, lessons learnt in science, arts, humanity, philosophy, sociology, morals character, personality as well as psychology lack the potency to deal with the impurity of sin.
"...Without the Shedding of Blood There is no Forgiveness." Hebrews 9:19-22 KJV. This imperfection led to the birth of the Saviour of the world, who alone, possesses the sin-less nature that can present man before God perfect, justified. His Birth goes beyond mere merriment, festivities, wining, dining or commercial advantages. It goes farther than mere religious entertainments. He came with a mandate, mission. Man's eternal destiny is at stake; his future blinks and his end trembles for ageless pains in eternity. Man must secure the blood of the Saviour urgently. He came, He ministered & gave His life a ransom that don't need to be paid again. In Him are all sufficiency, as His peace passes temporary peace that comes from marriage, job, green card, wealth, new contracts, or any gainful or profitable ventures in this life.
He didn't remain a baby in the manger, neither did He remain on the Cross perpetually, He was born, He ministered, He was crucified, He was buried, He resurrected, ascended into Heaven, and He is coming again.
What if i lived a normal life: nice, gentle, generous, discipline, morally update, fairly religious, highly successful a professional, loving my kids & family; loving everyone, give to the society, BUT i see no reason to accept this Jesus. i am just principle and philosophical about life. This is not bad, but it is far apart & highly unrecognized when it comes to God's expectations for man's regeneration. If the moral principles, religious activities and good works are enough, then, the Saviour won't be born. Nothing earthly can invalidate the guilt, & the nature of sin.
The consequences of rejecting the Saviour are massive, enormous, endless & irreparable, inspite of all acclaimed good works, nice life, self-righteousness. 1 Corinthians 15:19: "If we only have hope in Christ in this life, we are to be most pitied of all men."
Everything one ever had, achieved, possessed, inherited, labored work, invested'll fly into insignificance when death comes. The best of friends'll not be able to help; children, wife, employees, employers, communities, acquaintances, government, etc will resign you into the hand of an angry God when you face him on His Judgement seat. You'll pay an irreparable price all the combined financial resources and worth of all the richest people on earth can't pay for, and the debt'll still remain unbearable. He'll sentence you to the region of the lost & there'll be no second chance. You'll be lost for ageless time, eternity & everyone you ever known, including good memories, good times'll disappear in a jiffy.
His birth is no joke, His death is no child's place, His resurrection is not a mere rhetoric, His second coming is not a dream.
Have you accepted the Saviour or are you just living life without this eternal consciousness?
There is hope today & He loves you more than anyone else.
God bless you as you fall on your kneels to accept the greatest gift, greatest achievement ever.
God bless.
