Joshua 10:42 (Amplified Bible)
10:42 Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS, for my eyes, ears and complete focus is on You alone for You are the Author, and Perfecter of my faith that overcomes this world and You live within me that is greater who is in this world.
Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)
12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
1 John 5:4 (Amplified Bible)
5:4 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
1 John 4:4 (Amplified Bible)
4:4 Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
VI. TITLE:
JESUS fights for us
VII. EXPLICATION:

B. Key Thought: How to be successful in the battle of life? (Joshua 1:8-9)
Joshua 1:8-9 (NLT)
8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
C. Leading Topic: Conquest and Division of the land of Canaan
VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. All the kings and their land are given to us one time
"Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time,"
Joshua represents CHRIST JESUS in our lives. Joshua's name in Hebrew means "Jehovah-saved".
Kings symbolizes our enemies in high position and influence.
Lands represents their territories. Even if we live in the territories of our enemies, the squatters, the LORD will take their land and give it to us.
Psalms 46:1 (King James Version)
46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:7 (Amplified Bible)
46:7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
One time means one stroke. The LORD doesn't need to hit twice, only once is needed from the LORD and it will spell destruction on all our enemies.
1 Samuel 17:47 (Amplified Bible)
17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.
Zechariah 4:6 (Amplified Bible)
4:6 Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.
Remember what's physical in the old testament is spiritual with us. We are engaged in spiritual battle, the LORD owns the battle not us, we only stand still to see the salvation of GOD in our lives. The Aleph-Tav signature is placed after the word "see" in Exodus 14:13, meaning, the insight is we don't remove our focus (eyes) on the LORD JESUS who gave us the victories, we don't look at the circumstances or what we feel but on the LORD JESUS.
Ephesians 6:12 (Amplified Bible)
6:12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
Exodus 14:13 (Amplified Bible)
14:13 Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.
