VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. JESUS declared the FATHER's Name to us

"For He says, I will declare Your [the Father’s] name to My brethren;"

Declare means announce, bring word, declare, report, show, tell.

John 20:17 (Amplified Bible)

20:17 Jesus said to her, Do not cling to Me [do not hold Me], for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brethren and tell them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

Romans 8:29 (Amplified Bible)

8:29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

1 Corinthians 6:17 (Amplified Bible)

6:17 But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.

Ephesians 5:2 (Amplified Bible)

5:2 And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.

We think we know GOD by our own human instincts, we are absolutely wrong, because if JESUS have not declared the FATHER's Name to us, we would not have know GOD, the FATHER in any other way.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

B. JESUS will sing hymns of praises to the FATHER in the midst of the congregation

"in the midst of the [worshiping] congregation I will sing hymns of praise to You."

Sing means "to celebrate GOD in a song".

Psalms 22:25 (Amplified Bible)

22:25 My praise shall be of You in the great congregation. I will pay to Him my vows [made in the time of trouble] before them who fear (revere and worship) Him.

Psalms 40:10 (Amplified Bible)

40:10 I have not concealed Your righteousness within my heart; I have proclaimed Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not hid away Your steadfast love and Your truth from the great assembly.

Psalms 111:1 (Amplified Bible)

111:1 PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) I will praise and give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart in the council of the upright and in the congregation.

John 18:20 (Amplified Bible)

18:20 Jesus answered him, I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in a synagogue and in the temple [area], where the Jews [habitually] congregate (assemble); and I have spoken nothing secretly.

JESUS Himself on our behalf, both in our midst and inside of us, is the One praise the FATHER. If not for JESUS, we are not able to do that, because the FATHER can't accept imperfection or sin, but JESUS, Perfect in Himself, does that for us. He not only enabled us to praise the FATHER, He Himself, inside of us praises and worships the FATHER.

IX. CONCLUSION:

JESUS declared the FATHER GOD to the world, so we need to declare GOD, the SON to this world because as He is, so are we.

Romans 8:29-30 (The Message)

8:29 God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.
