Psalms 68:4 CEV “Our God (Elohim), you are the one who rides on the clouds, and we praise you. Your name is the LORD (YHWH), and we celebrate as we worship you.”

Isaiah 42:8 CEV “My name is the LORD (YHWH)! I won’t let idols or humans share my glory and praise.”

JEHOVAH – means I AM WHO I AM or I AM! Exodus 3:14-15

Isaiah 43:10-13 NLT "But you are My witnesses, O Israel!" says the LORD. "You are My servant. You have been chosen to know Me, believe in Me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God, there never has been, and there never will be. I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God," says the LORD. "From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of My hand. No one can undo what I have done."

He desires a RELATIONSHIP with us!

He is a JEALOUS God!

Exodus 20:1-6 MSG GOD spoke all these words: 2 I am GOD, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of a life of slavery. 3 No other gods, only me. 4 No carved gods of any size, shape, or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or swim. 5 Don’t bow down to them and don’t serve them because I am GOD, your God, and I’m a most jealous God, punishing the children for any sins their parents pass on to them to the third, and yes, even to the fourth generation of those who hate me. 6 But I’m unswervingly loyal to the thousands who love me and keep my commandments.

He is HOLY!

Leviticus 11:44-45 CEV I am the LORD your God, and you must dedicate yourselves to me and be holy, just as I am holy. Don’t become disgusting by eating any of these unclean creatures. 45 I brought you out of Egypt so that I could be your God. Now you must become holy, because I am holy!

He is RIGHTEOUS!

Psalms 11:7 MKJV For the righteous Jehovah loves righteousness; His face looks on the upright.

He is LOVING!

Deuteronomy 23:5 MKJV But Jehovah your God would not listen to Balaam, but Jehovah your God turned the curse to a blessing to you, because Jehovah your God loved you.

He does not CHANGE!

Malachi 3:6a “For I Jehovah, change not.”

JEHOVAH and JESUS are the same! John 8:48-58

John 8:48-59 NASB “The Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?" 49 Jesus answered, "I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 "But I do not seek My glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death." 52 The Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets also; and You say, ’If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste of death.’ 53 "Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?" 54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ’He is our God’; 55 and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." 57 So the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" 58 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." 59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.”
