It's time..."to get your Worship On"
1 Thess. 5:18-20 MSG.
16-18. Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
No matter what is going on in life, you can find a reason to thank God.
Most people when they're confronted with it don't like to believe this next statement...
What comes out of your mouth is what comes into your life...and everyday we make choices as to what we want to happen each day.
Have you determined yet what today holds for you?
Will it be a good day or bad day?…
I don't know what today holds for you...
for you see the choice isn't up to me...
it's up to you
TBS.(the bible says) everyday we wake up with a choice,
Choose ye this day whom you will serve, will it be God or man, the choice is yours?
Joshua 24:15 NKJ
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Whether most people will admit it or not, happiness is a state of mind
and a choice that we make on a daily basis...
When is the last time you said...
"No matter what happens today I'm not going to let the accuser or circumstances steal my JOY"
For some people the devil has them convinced that they don't even
have a choice in the matter anymore…
Life stinks...
I never get any good breaks...
It's always going to be this way...
They've had so many bad days
that they have forgotten that they even have a choice in the matter...
Did you know that the accuser has some convinced that negativity is their friend and there is a comfort level in being negative…
Because anything you do long enough will become familiar to you...
And for some reason they feel as though
...it's their job to point every negative thing they see...
Thing is… They have done it for so long that they don't even see the negativity in what they're doing...
and when confronted about it...they've got so used to doing it..They accuse you of the one who's being negative.
Positive thoughts, bring about positive results!
Negative thoughts, bring about negative results.
I have had both in my lifetime...and I have concluded after exhaustive research
that I like the positive results
that positive thoughts bring about...
so much more than the negative results negative thoughts bring about...

The story is told of a king in Africa who had a close friend with whom he grew up. The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life (positive or negative) and remarking, "This is good!"
One day the king and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the king. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the king fired it and his thumb was blown off.
Examining the situation, the friend remarked as usual,
"This is good!"
To which the king replied, "No, this is not good!" and proceeded to send his friend to jail.
About a year later, the king was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked some wood, set up a stake and bound him to the stake.
As they came near to set fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being superstitious, they never ate anyone who was less than whole. So untying the king, they sent him on his way.
As he returned home, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak with his friend.
"You were right," he said, "it was good that my thumb was blown
off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that had just
happened. "And so, I am very sorry for sending you to jail for
so long. It was bad for me to do this."
"No," his friend replied, "This is good!"
"What do you mean, ’This is good’? How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"
"If I had not been in jail, I would have been with you."
