Summary: Just think, the birth of Christ started it all for Christian’s today. The entire Old Testament was just the lead in story for the main event, His birth.
It’s Just begun
Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

6 There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
I. Finally, the Christmas season is over and everything can get back to normal.
a. After Christ’s birth, there was nothing normal for the rest of time.
i. Jesus lived a radical lifestyle
1. There wasn’t anything even ordinary about his birth

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
2. Everything Jesus did was considered radical
ii. He is probably the most popular figure in History from a secular or Christian perspective.
1. Our time line is name after his birth
2. His book is the most published book of all time.
b. On that night in Bethlehem, God started a work that continues to this day
II. God has a plan for everyone’s life
a. I’ve heard that all my life
i. No one ever told me what the plan was – They told me what there plan was
ii.
b. As humans, we have our own plans that doesn’t always coincide with God’s
i. The things that we can do on our own are never as successful as if we did them with God
ii.
III. “The Tale of the Three Trees”
a. Each tree had it’s own dream
i. An ordinary dream in human perspective
ii. They were crushed when they realized their dream wasn’t coming true
b. God took those dreams and made them into something great
i. God can make anything great

IV. Take-Away
a. God’s will can only be revealed to us if we have a personal relationship with Him
b. Pray for God’s direction when finding His will in your life
c. Live your life to the fullest in Christ

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
d. In this time of Celebrating Christ’s birth and then making resolution, let’s resolve to allow God to do the work He has prepared for our lives and our church.
