It Is Truly Finished

John 19:28-30 King James Version (KJV)

28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Beloved, when Jesus said "it is finished" on the cross, it was really finished. This statement was made to make you know your past has been taken care of, your present has been taken care of and your future has also been taken care of.

In one complete statement, Jesus meant: past, present and future are done and secured. Beloved your future is secured. Your today is assured and nobody can change it. Your yesterday is taken care of for a better effect on today and tomorrow.

Beloved, there is nothing more you can do or have to do, Jesus has done it all. He has completed the task and all He wants from you is to know Him, accept Him, trust in Him, put all your hope and faith in Him then obey Him so you do the right things according to God's will.

Beloved, as a Christian, tomorrow is known, not uncertain. This is because we know everyday is a day of victory, success, progress and fulfilment of he purpose of God in our lives as we get blessed by God and live the blessings.

Beloved, it is truly finished and there is nothing more to be done. All you need to do is just enjoy the grace, mercy and love available to you from Jesus and live a life of contentment.

Jesus has already taken care of tomorrow's unknown and yesterday's errors. He has also taken care of today's mistakes that are ongoing and He has made them all good that the name of God Almighty would be glorified.

Beloved *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let's get glued to Jesus and live Jesus, talk Jesus and exhibit Jesus in all things concerning us for in Him, everything is finished and we need not do anything again.

Prayer: Father, may your Spirit stir up my faith and give me deeper understanding of Jesus and His work on the cross that I may better live and talk Jesus always. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
