It Had To Be this Way. HHM Pastor Jim Parisi June 8, 2003

As my faith gets stronger and the revelation of the word of God becomes engrafted into me deeper day-by-day, the questions that I have asked for many years are now starting to be answered.

As a young Christian I had offered wondered why did God allow certain things to happen in this world?

I think the one that perplexed me the most is why God allowed Jesus Christ His son; the son He loved so much to come to this earth as a man,

Heb 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

To be humiliated, sacrificed for man… and hung on a Cross.

I sometimes find it hard to see what God sees with his eyes in relationship to man.

Praise God that none of us are responsible for the fate of mankind.

Some times as Christians we would like only see the good side of man and forget about the evil that is manifested through Sin by him.

We have become so sophisticated that trust is no longer the norm as we evaluate situations.

There was a time not so long ago the man could be trusted to fulfill his part of an agreement without a written physical contract.

A handshake is all that was needed.

The same with the gospel today, no more do we believe it by faith, the unbelievers stand their in their arrogance and scream Prove it.

Here’s my proof Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: "That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged."

We have become a society that no longer believes by faith the word of God which is pure, we become a society sin infested vessels.

Believing in what makes us comfortable and personally secure.

We believe with our eyes and what we read in the papers and see on TV.

The problem is you cannot trust what you see with your eyes today.

Let alone where to hear with your ears.

Look at the NY TIMES there is a situation now with a reporter and his accuracy of many stories that went to print with his by line.

The Times is an institution built on Trust and TRUTH. Who will put down their money to read this paper, if there is even a doubt of what you are reading is not true.

So why did God the Father sent Jesus Christ in the form of a man.

The answer is clear, it is because this is the only way that man could regain the power and authority of this planet surrendered in the Garden by Adam.

Jesus had to come back as a man because there was a man Adam who that lost all the authority that God gave him to have dominion in this earth.

Psalm 8:3-6 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

The only way that man could understand and respect what the Lord Jesus did for him this through this association.

What good would it have been, if God just came down from Heaven’s and fixed it all of man’s problems?

Remember the story of the Karate Kid?

A young man named Daniel new to the neighborhood met up with some local thugs. They roughed Daniel up a bit, and into his life enter’s a little man of great power and authority. Mr. Maiggi was an expert in his art. KARATE

Now this scenario reminds me a little of the situation we have with the earth and the devil.

Maiggi could have gone and took care of the situation for Daniel. He could have Smooth things over and made it all better for him.

But what would have Daniel learned from that experience.

How would Daniel experience conquering his enemy and regain authority back?

So the old master teachers Daniel his craft and puts Daniel in the ring with his adversary. And Gods Process of Wax on wax off
