It Can Happen Right Here!

Summary: God can Bless you right where you are.
“Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.”
You don’t have to move to be blessed. God can bless you right where you are.
There is a lie the enemy loves to tell us: The lie is “You’ve got to go somewhere else to be somebody else.
You’ve got to move to be used. You’ve got to relocate to be relevant. You’ve got to escape to be elevated.”
But I came to serve notice today to every doubter, to every discouraged soul, and to every dreamer that is stuck in your mind, that— “It can happen right here!”
Yes, right in the places where you’ve been overlooked.
Yes, right in the places where you’ve struggled.
Yes, even on dry land — blessings can flow.
Deuteronomy 28:3 says, “Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.” That means whether you are in the crowded streets or on the country roads, the hand of God is not limited by your location — but by your faith and obedience.
I need you to know that your Blessing Are Not Bound by Location.
God said you’ll be blessed in the city and in the field — that means location are irrelevant to divine favor.
Joseph was in a pit and God was with him.
He was sold into slavery — God was still with him.
He ended up in prison — still, God was with him.
He became ruler in Egypt — and God was STILL with him!
The problem or the issues were not was not where Joseph was. His answers and favor, was Who was with him.
You see we, must to be careful who will be around because they could be our downfall.
We must be careful who we share our dreams with.
We must be careful who we try to take along with us.
Because our issues are not where we are located, but instead it is who is with us.
Jot this down. Don’t mistake place for power.
Don’t allow your surroundings to dictate your expectation.
Just because you’re not in a palace, doesn’t mean you can’t walk in authority. God can bless you in the field, in the hallway, in the waiting room — even in the valley, and in the alley.
But here is a key factor. Obedience Activates the Blessing
Let go back to vs 1-2 of Deuteronomy 28 starts with: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: (don’t miss this)
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. (v.1)
The blessing isn’t triggered by ZIP code — it’s triggered by obedience.
It’s not about running to the next city or the next opportunity.
It’s about saying, “God, I trust you right HERE.”
It’s in obedience that heaven opens.
It’s in obedience that favor flows.
Stop chasing places, and start chasing His presence.
The blessing will catch you when you’re walking in His will.
Here’s my third point: Bloom Where You’re Planted
Some people are so busy trying to escape their current situation, they miss the miracle in the making.
Flowers bloom right where they are planted.
Have you ever seen a flower grow through concrete?
It wasn’t in the perfect soil.
It wasn’t in the right environment.
But something in it said, “I’m going to rise anyway.”
God is saying to somebody today — you don’t have to move to be blessed.
Stop looking at what you lack. Because somebody don’t have anything
Stop comparing your life to others. Because somebody might. have everything they desire and still going through hard times.
Stop thinking, “If only I were over there…” and start thanking God that He is able right HERE.
I’m reminded of a story about There was an old man who lived in a small rural town. Everyone around him was moving to the big cities, chasing dreams and the promises of success. But the old man stayed.
One day a young man asked him, “Why haven’t you left this old town? There’s nothing here.”
The old man smiled and pointed to a massive oak tree in his yard. “He said you see that tree? It’s over a hundred years old. It didn’t have much rain, it’s seen drought, storms, lightning, and even fire. But it’s still standing.”
The young man said, “What’s your point?”
He answered, “This tree didn’t grow because of the place. It grew because of its roots. I may not be in the biggest town, but my roots are in God. And He’s been blessing me right here for over 70 years.”
