“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9 NKJV)

I. Is Islam a pathway to heaven?

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV)

“"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."” (Acts 4:12 NKJV)

Quotes from Koran - (Al-Quran Surah 009.30) “The Jews call ’Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

(Surah 004.157) “That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of God";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-“

II. What really is Islam?

Islam means _______________________ .

Surah 009.029 “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

Surah 009.005 “But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war);...”

“ "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (Mat. 5:44 NKJV)

“[Let] nothing [be done] through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3-4 NKJV)

I. Introduction

A. Divine Appointment (Pray)

B. When America was bombed in Pearl Harbor, we knew that we were at war. America rose up and went around the world to defend our borders. When the Muslims flew their bombs into the World Trade Center and Pentagon on 9/11, killing more Americans than the Japanese killed in Pearl Harbor, America still isn’t sure if we are at war or not - or if we should even declare one???

II Islam vs. Christianity (Gal.1:6-9)

A. Is it a pathway to heaven?

1. Christianity: (I Cor.15:3,4)

a. Jesus, sinless, died for our sins (according to the scriptures)

b. Jesus was buried

c. Jesus rose from the dead, (according to the scriptures)

2. “"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."” (Acts 4:12 NKJV)

3. Quotes from the Quran:

a. Deny the deity of Jesus - sinlessness, - call him just a prophet. Below Allah, and Mohammad, more like a good pastor.

b. Deny the substitutionary death of Jesus

4. Without a correct portrayal of Jesus Christ and His life, death, resurrection - it is not Christian. Therefore, it definitely isn’t a pathway to heaven.

B. What really is Islam?

1. Islam means “submission.”

2. Surah 009.029 “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya (Pronounced: DIJAH )with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”
