And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straitway up out of the water. and lo, the heavens were open unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And lo, a voice from heaven saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; Fitted for the job

John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I saw and bare record, that this IS the Son of God.
#2 The Lord hath anointed me to preach: he was appointed and ordained to it
By being anointed he was ‘set apart’ to preach, meaning he was sent!
The Lord did not go unsent! John 3:16 says that God sent His Son;
He was charged to preach the gospel
II Timothy 4:1-4
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom: Preach the word: Be instant in season, out of season: reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine: but after there own lust they heap to themselves teachers, having itchy ears: And they shall turn away from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
And what did he preach?
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Romans 10:13-15
For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! How shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear with out a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.
Isaiah 55:6
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near.

For by grace are ye saved through faith: & that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

For though I preach the gospel, I have to glory of, for necessity is laid upon me, yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life, For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
#3 Good tidings to the meek: Good tidings is good news Meek is gentle and mild

Psalms 147:3
He hath healeth the broken hearted, and bindeth up there wounds.
Aren’t you glad you have been touched by the Master’s hand?
#5 To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound: captives means bruised to be a liberator
Completely crushed and shattered in life, those broken in body, soul and mind, so that there is almost no life left. To be the captive of Satan, in sickness, disease, weakness, failures, bondage, sin, and habits that destroy the body soul and mind
*** Liberty is the very essence of the gospel ***
