Colossians 1:11 "strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;"

For all those who are connected with thousands on social media, chatting, texting and browsing all day, I have a Word for you today- strength comes when you are connected with God ALONE! Are you listening? All the wasted hours on watching crap, if invested in God would give you enough strength to overcome hurdles in your life. You will not buckle down easily but say, "I will fight this battle out!" Say Amen. Don't be a sticky, wobbly earthworm but arise because your God is the Lion of Judah! Someone said: WHERE THERE IS NO STRUGGLE THERE IS NO STRENGTH! Wow!

Yesterday I read about Commander Abhilash Tomy, a retired Indian Navy officer, naval aviator and yachtsman, who became the first Indian to complete a* solo, non-stop circumnavigation* of the world under sail. He also competed in the 2018 Golden Globe Race. He completed the task in 236 days and became the first Indian and first Asian to complete the Golden Globe race.

The entrants in the race had to sail without modern technology or the benefit of satellite-based navigation aids. They had to use similar yachts, equipment and technology that were available to Sir Robin, the first person to complete single-handed and non-stop around the world sail between June 14, 1968, and April 22, 1969. Imagine being alone in the sea for 236 days and coming out victorious! What helped him brave the rough sea alone? He said: "I survived because of my sailing skills, the soldier bit in me and my Naval training cut-in for that fight,"

Did you hear that? The training that he received helped him during times of crisis, likewise, we as children of God also need to train our body, soul and spirit through the Word of God. Read:

(1 Timothy 4:7 MSG) “Exercise daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please!”

NIV 7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.

The inner man gets strengthened through Word, prayer and fasting, without which one is dead.

Wesley L Duewel says, “Delivering the gospel message to every human being is not enough, however, the crucial factor is assuring that the message will be understood and accepted. Prayer is the answer.” These few words sends us a strong and sound message emphasizing the need and urgency of spending time at His feet. It is sad and pathetic to see servants of God ignoring this most important factor and running around doing ministry in their own strength. Prayer is the key to unfold the supernatural power of God in our lives and ministry!

Did you hear that? You need to be trained in prayer, fasting and Bible to be strong and mighty!

Ephesians 3:16”I pray that the Lord would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man..”(Memorize)

Filling your mind and heart with God’s Word and promises takes away fear, angst, anger and worries. Don’t we memorize phone numbers, ATM passwords and many other things, let us do this exercise of memorizing God’s Word seriously in order to reap blessings plentifully. Are you listening?

Let me tell you something, none of us can flex our muscles and pray for cancer on one single day, faith comes from walking with God on a daily basis, reading His Word and trusting in His promises. I tell you, besides Bible, I also keep reading books on prayers, revival and personal biographies of spiritual legends who accomplished great things for God and thereby I pump fire into my bones. I keep telling myself, ‘bala, keep soaring high for God, this is not enough…!’ Glory to Jesus!

David was confidently able to confront the giant Goliath who everyone, that included the handsome king Saul as well, trembled at, because he had already tasted victory against a bear and a lion. Do you feel ill-equipped to fight the enemies that come surging against you today? Do you feel small and insignificant against the big ‘Goliaths’ that come pouncing at you? Do you feel small and helpless in front of the giants? Friend, there are people all around to put you down and keep you under their feet; refuse to be defeated, arise my friend!

Stand against the temptations that come like a flood to drown you! Changing times and eclectic tastes have seen our society undergo a total transformation in style and trends. We need ‘inner strength’ to stand firm in our resolution! Are you listening? Be it a new car, electronic gadget, you should have inner strength to stand against financial mess. Someone needs to hear me today! I hope you understand!
