Summary: Man, that’s unfair! So many times that is what we say! The truth is many things in this life is unfair, we look around and we see injustices all around us.

Amos 5:2-But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.

Proverbs 21:3-To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Proverbs 28:5-Evil men do not understand justice, But those who seek the Lord understand all

Isaiah 56:1-2-Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed.

Blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Ecclesiastes 5:8-9-If you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and justice being miscarried throughout the land, don't be surprised! For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice only get lost in red tape and bureaucracy. 9 Even the king milks the land for his own profit!

Man, that’s unfair! So many times that is what we say!

The truth is many things in this life is unfair, we look around and we see injustices all around us.

People who can’t defend themselves are being taken advantage of, the poor exploited or oppressed, the elderly tricked out of their income or taken of advantage of their kindness.

And with seeing all of that or hearing of that, we are still shocked by the injustice that happens in this world!

But the writer is trying to remind us that we live in a fallen world, and it has been that way ever since Cain killed Abel, and it will continue until God puts a end to it for good!

Corruption, greed and injustice trickle down from the top of government down to the lowly taxpayer.

You got all these people watching each other, and most of them are not making sure that people are not being taken advantage of, but making sure that someone else is not filling their pockets, more that there are!!

And if they get caught they just say, “I was just doing what I was told!”

1-Poor Oppressed-One example is years ago in the mining towns, the mine owners would put in a store or buy the one there already and when the miners would need groceries they could charge if to their account and they would take it out of their paychecks, but because they were so high priced and they paid the miners so little, the miners would pay off last months bill and because they would be broke or almost broke they would have to get food on credit again, and circle continued.

Still today, the poor is being taken advantage of! If your credit’s bad, higher interest rate, higher payments!

Proverbs 22:16-He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.

2-Justice Being Miscarried-(Perversion Of Justice)-When judge or politician takes bribe, or a law is change to benefit the crooked or promote more injustices, then you have the law and all it stands for, begin to crumble the society we live in!

When government officials or any one in a leadership position (Preachers, Coaches, Teachers….) turn a blind eye to wrong-doing then we have a problem and it spreads all over the nation!

Injustice Will Not Stay Injustice!

They may get away with how they treat others for a season, but just like the seasons come and go, so will their power over people, and one day they will have to stand before the One and True Judge, the One and True Power!

Romans 1:18-For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

A guy wrote the paper, because the editor had wrote a column about why you should be in church on Sunday.

"In defiance of your God I plowed my fields this year on Sunday; I harrowed and fertilized them on Sunday; I planted them on Sunday, I cultivated them on Sunday and I reaped them on Sunday. This October I had the biggest crop I have ever had. How do you explain that?" The editor wrote: "God does not always make a full reckoning in October."

How all this cheating, lying, oppressing people turns out for them that do it:

Ecclesiastes 5:10-11-Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness! The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what is the advantage of wealth -- except perhaps to watch it run through your fingers!
