God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.

GOD's blessings to the humble, they will inherit the whole earth.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. GOD blesses

1. GOD blesses those who does His Words. (James 1:25)

But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

2. Forgetting GOD and His Laws results in no blessing (Hosea 4:6)

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.

B. Those who are humble

1. If you are humble, GOD's favor is upon you. (1 Peter 5:5,Isaiah 57:15, Isaiah 66:2)

C. The humble will inherit the earth.

1. Earth - Greek word: ghay - meaning soil, region, solid part, whole of the terrene globe

2. GOD's promises are very clear, proud people will not inherit the earth. (Psalms 37:34, Psalms 37:9, Psalms 37:29, Isaiah 60:21)
