In The Potter's Hands

"IN THE POTTER’S HAND"
Read - Romans 9:16-21
I want you to pay close attention right here "if you will".
Paul said the potter has power over the clay...
* God Molds Us
* God Makes Us
* God Holds Us In His Hands
"Slap somebody a high five and say ....
* God has molded you
* God had Made you
* God Holds you in His hands !!
It’s not news to me or you that every potter has the job of molding, making, and holding.
Read Ps. 139:1-10
(1) The reason that God is involed in the pottery process is thst God needs instruments not objects.
A. Any potter can make an object to sit it on a self
B. Any potter can make an artifact that is a thing of beauty and enjoy it forever.
c. Any potter can make an item of retail sale that men can buy or leave alone.
But God does not need objects, God needs intruments.
Way to many people who are engaged in Christian enterprise are objects, But they’re not instruments.
An Instrument says --- I’m good for something
An Instrument says --- I have a purpose
An Insrtument says --- I have vaule
An Instrument says --- I can be used
SOMEBODY SHOUT !! >>>>> I’m Good for something
>>>>> I have a purpose
>>>>> I have vaule
>>>>> I can be used
(2) You have to remember that the potter does has power over the clay.
A. The potter has creative power.
b. He brings into being that which was not.....
YOU SEE: The potter has creative power to reach down in the dust of the earth and pick up lumbs of clay and breath life into it until it walks and talks like a natural man.
(3) More than all this, the potter has re-creative power.
A. Jeremiah says that sometimes the pot is marred in the potter’s hand.
Read - Jeremiah 18:1-4
SOMETIMES THE POT DOES NOT DO WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO.......
But the potter just takes it, breaks it, molds it and makes it into what He wants it to be.
LOOK AT SOMEBODY AND TELL THEM......
HE’S TAKING YOU
HE’S BREAKING YOU
HE’S MOLDING YOU and
HE’S MAKING YOU
I’m so glad to know that when I’m marred and broken, That the Lord is not through with me yet.
I WANT HIM TO RE-CREATE ME !!!

Can I tell you, WE END WHERE WE BEGAN ---- GOD MOLDS US, GOD MAKES US, AND GOD HOLDS US IN HIS HANDS. "WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!"
