IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER

Ps 110:3

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

Our God is powerful. He has the supernatural ability to do all things at the same time and at all times. He is ominipotent and ominipresent. He has never failed and will never fail.

The Bible says in

Ps 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Our God has the unlimited power. In fact, Jesus Himself said so in Matthew 28:18 when he declared

Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit has power. This same power, Jesus has given to his disciples and by extension, to every believer.

In Luke 10:19

Jesus said,

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

So our God is all powerful and you as a believer, you are powerful.

Psalms 110:3 says, your people shall be willing in the day of his power.

So what happens in the day of God's power?

1. A WAY WILL BE MADE WHERE THERE WAS NO WAY BEFORE

There had never been a way in the red sea but because the Lord needed to make a way for his children, he demonstrated his power.

Rev 3:7 says the Lord has the key of David, once he opens, no one can close, if he closes, no one can open.

In Acts 12:5-11 A way was made for Peter in captivity so much so that prison door opened on its own accord. That was a demonstration of power.

In Acts 16:25-34 A way was made for Paul and Silas as the power of God caused an earthquake to open locked prison doors to free them.

2. IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER, SOMETHING NEW HAPPENS

The Red Sea had never ever opened before talk more of a road that took a whole nation but the power of God, put a red carpet in the red sea for His children to pass. Miracles that have never happened before will happen in someone's life henceforth in Jesus name.

In Exodus 17:1-6. The children of Israel needed water in the desert and for the first time, the all powerful God had to bring water out of the rock

In Daniel chapter. 3, Meshach, Shedrack and Abednego were cast into fire by their enemy, they came out alive and rather than die, they increased in number.

Then in Daniel chapter 6. Daniel was thrown into the Den of lions rather than the lions eating him up, the power of God sealed the lions mouths and Daniel came out alive.

3. IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER GENERATIONAL PROBLEMS OF MANY YEARS COMES TO AN AUTOMATIC END

In Exodus, from chapter 7, Slavery of over 430 years ended in one night in the life of the Israelites in Egypt because God decided to demonstrate his power.

Then, in 2 Kings 2:19-22. Jericho generation curse ended by the power of the Almighty.

In Galatians 3:13-14 the Bible says Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law

For this reason, at the shout of 3 loud AMEN every curse running in your family is broken now by the power of the Almighty in Jesus name.

4. IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER, THE ENEMIES OF HIS PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED

Psalms 68:1-3 says Let God arise and let all his enemies be scattered.

It was God's power that made the children of Israel in

Exodus 14:23-28 to pass on dry grounds in the red sea, and when the enemies pursued them, God demonstrated his power by causing the waters to return to consume them. The same red sea that God used to deliver his children from the enemies, he used to destroy the enemies. What a powerful God.

No wonder Deutoronomy 28;1,7 says if we harken unto the Lord, the enemies will be beaten down before our face and if they come one way, the will flee seven ways

Isaiah 41:10-14. says I should tell you that All those incensed against you will be as nothing in the mighty name of Jesus.

5. IN THE DAY OF HIS POWER, THERE WILL BE A NEW SONG

In Exodus 15:1-11 the children of Israel sang a new song, a song of triumph and testimonies not their usual songs of sorrow.

In Psalms 40:1-3 the Psalmist said, I cried unto the Lord he put a new song in my mouth.
