Summary: The greatest gift we can give our children is to be godly parents.

The greatest gift we can give our children is to be godly parents. Motherhood is a blessing ordained by God, full of hope and joy, a high calling, and indeed worthy of honor.

God wants Mothers also to have a great influence in the spiritual life of our children. Scripture teaches mothers to point children toward Christ by praying for them, modeling faith and character, and training them in wisdom.

A mother’s sincere faith can be transferred to their children by living their faith daily before their children. This is the greatest gift you can give your children; A mother’s faith is generational; it leaves a Godly legacy.

God chose to give many women the very crucial job of motherhood. Mothers have a special and important role in the lives of their kids. Mothers have a duty to love their children above all else and to nurture, care for, develop, encourage, teach, train, and discipline them. A mother’s love is similar to God’s love.

God promises in Isaiah 16:13 — “As a mother comforts her child, I shall comfort you.”

God has blessed us with mothers who may not have given birth to a child. But it also advises every woman who has been blessed with motherhood to approach the role with the utmost respect and care.

Proverbs 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Timothy was trained and demonstrated by the faith of his mother Eunice, and grandmother Lois which played a significant role in his coming to Christ.

The faith of Jochebed, Moses’ mother saved him from Pharaoh’s sword. Her early training gave Moses a sense of his true identity, not as Pharoah’s grandson, but as a child of the true and living God.

2 Timothy 1:5 “For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.”

1 Sincere faith; Your faith doesn’t have to be perfect but sincere. Sincere faith is trusting God in the difficult times, not just the good times — Psalm 18:2–3, Isaiah 12:2

A mother’s faith is transferable — 2 Timothy 1:5 2.1 Your faith in God is the greatest gift you can give your children.

Faith is not just taught, but imparted by living a daily life of faith — 2 Corinthians 4:13 3

Live your faith in front of your children — Philippians 4:9.

Children need to see their mother’s faith at work and produce results.

Jesus compared faith to a small seed that moves a great mountain — Matthew 17:20

Conclusion: Mothers, you have the faith you need to be a good mother to your children. Live out your sincere faith before your children and impart your faith into their lives. Mothers, I want to express my gratitude for your assistance in bringing up godly kids who will transform the world. You will receive an eternal reward for your investment in your children and the children of our generation, so be encouraged and don’t grow weary in doing good. They are going to change the world!

You are fostering a strong faith in them to prevail in the most trying circumstances. Moms remain devoted to the responsibility of rearing godly children. Don’t stop giving them love, faith, and courage! Motherhood is spoken of throughout Scripture as a high and important calling.
