Summary: Have you ever imagined living one day like Moses? How much it would impact our lives? How much Christlike would we become? How much change would we (and others would) see in our lives?
Have you ever imagined living one day like Moses? How much it would impact our lives? How much Christlike would we become? How much change would we (and others would) see in our lives??
When you wake up in the morning, you realize that God is coming in the night to meet you. It is not an expectation, but a reality or surety. God came yesterday, and He will come today. How will you handle when you are in such a situation like Moses? God physically coming in all his Glory to meet Moses. There is thunder, clouds, lighting and lot of external manifestations.
The first thing you'll realize is that you're not prepared or ready to meet God. You will start preparing and cleansing your heart. You will start repenting and preparing, and more importantly, you will do everything with a perspective that you need to see and speak with God today. Within in a few hours, you will meet God. The countdown starts in the morning, like in like in another 3 hours God will come; another 2 hours God will come and so on.?
Your way of doing things will change. If you do things (or act) unjustly, how will you stand before God and speak to him. Everything will change. The words you speak will change - how will we speak to God with the lips that have spoken lies or boasting words? Your eyesight will change; with lusty eyes, how can we see God? Your way of doing things will change: you will try to work hard and strive for perfection. Your conscience will be sin sensitive and sin in-tolerant. Holiness will be your number one priority in life.?
You will try to examine and re-examine your life several times each day. This was the routine of Moses for around 30 years. Everyday preparing to meet God from morning till evening and night he will meet God. What a great life he lived, encountering God every day and communing with Him face to face. God would be come in all his Glory, and Moses would be prepared to meet Him. A humble man meeting his God.?
When was the last time you met God? When is the last time you had a meaningful conversation with God? Meaningful conversation with God means that it is not about your prayer requests. It is about having a two-way communication with God, in which you speak to Him and He responds to you. It is about getting to know him and spending time with him. It's about enjoying, cherishing and valuing him. If you have not yet begun a meaningful conversation with God, ask the help the Holy Spirit on this journey to see God.
