Ephes. 6:18 (KJV) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all

perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Ephes. 6:19-20 (KJV) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known

the mystery of the gospel,

[20] For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

(THE WORD OF GOD FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD)

VERY BRIEFLY I WANT TO REASON WITH YOU ON THE THOUGHT

(IF THE CHURCH WOULD JUST PRAY )

SUB TOPIC (PERILS AND THE POWER OF PREACHING)

MY BROTHERS ANDS SISTERS

THE WORD OF GOD AS IT IS CODIFIED IN THE SACARED SCRIPTURE

IS PERSISTENT IN IT`S CLAIM

THAT THERE IS NO SUITABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL

FOR IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT GOD`S WORD IS ALWAYS CARRIED ON THE FRESH WIND OF A PREACHER

PREACHING

THE WRITERS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT MAY HAVE BEEN LEGALISTIC IN THERE APPROACH

HISTORIC IN THERE WORLD VEIWS

POETS IN THERE PERCEPTIONS

JUDGEMENTAL IN THERE THEOLOGY

BUT EACH ONE OF THEM WAS A PREACHER PREACHING

AND THE PROPHETS OF ANCIENT STORY WE`RE ASSIGNED THE TASK OF SPEAKING TO MEN ON THE BEHALF OF GOD

AND THEN SPEAKING TO GOD ON THE BEHALF OF MEN

THEY WAS ABLE TO LOOK BACK THROUGH TIME TO REMIND ISRAEL OF WHAT GOD HAS DONE

THEY WAS ABLE TO STAND IN TIME TO INTERPERT WHAT GOD WAS DOING

AND AS WELL THEY WAS ABLE TO LOOK THROUGH THERE PROPHETIC TELESCOPIC LENSES TO SEE WHAT GOD

WAS ABOUT TO DO

WEATHER IT WAS EZEKIEL CRYING IN THE CHEBAR VALLEY CEMETERY

OR REVEREND HOSEA -WHO WAS HOPELESSLY HOOKED ON A HARLOT

OR PREACH BROTHER AMOS -DUSTING OFF THE LEAVES OF A SYCAMORE TREE FROM THE HILLS OF TEKOA

THEY ALL WE`RE PRECHERS PREACHING

AND EVEN IF YOU WAS TO LOOK TO THE NEW TESTAMENT

AND THERE YOU WOULD FIND 12 DIRTY UNDIGFIED UNDISCIPLINED DICIPLES

WEATHER YOUR FONDNESS IS FOR

REVEREND JAMES OR BISHOP JOHN- THE YOUNG FIREBALLS

OR FOR ELDER MATTHEW -THE REGENERATED INCOME TAX EXTORTIONER

ARE MAY BE YOUR FONDNESS IS FOR THE UNPREDICTABLE-IMPIOUS OVERSEER PETER

THEY ALL WE`RE PREACHERS PREACHING

THAT`S WHY AS GOD`S MAILMAN

WE MUST PREACH ABOUT 2 WAYS THE BROAD AND THE NARROW

WE MUST PREACH ABOUT 2 LIFE`S 1 BEFORE DEATH AND 1 AFTER DEATH

WE MUST PREACH ABOUT 2 CLASSES OF PEOPLE THE SAVED AND THE UNSAVED

WE MUST PREACH ABOUT 2 THINGS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SIN

AND WE MUST ALWAYS DO 4 THINGS PRAY -TEACH AND PREACH --AND STAY ON OUR KNEES AS MUCH AS STAND

ON OUR FEET

THAT’S WHY I FEEL MY CLAIM IS VALID AND MY POSITION IS JUSTIFIED

THAT ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURE THERE IS NO SUITABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL

AND THE DANGER OF THE PREACHING PROFESSION IS THAT WE ARE SENT AMONG WOLVES

BUT WE MUST BE WISE AS A SERPENT AND HARMLESS AS A DOVE

AND THE PERILOUS NATURE OF THE PREACHING PROFESSION

IS NO WHERE MORE CLEARLY SEEN THAN IN PAUL`S LETTER TO THE CHURCH AT EPHESUS

THE APOSTLE PAUL WROTE HIS LETTER TO THE EPHESIAN CONGREGATION SOMEWHERE AROUND THE YEAR A.D. 60

AND HIS RETURN ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOP WAS THE ROME CITY JAIL

AND PAUL TELLS THE CHURCH WHEATER YOU KNOW IT ARE NOT YOU ARE ENGAGED IN CHRISTIAN WARFARE

AND THAT’S WHY YOU NEED TO PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

THIS BATTLE ---THIS WARFARE IS NOT ONLY SPRITUAL -BUT IT HAS POLITICAL CONNOTATIONS

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the

darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

AND THEN PAUL SAYS A WORD ABOUT THE PERIL OF PREACHING

PRAY FOR ME - that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of

the gospel,

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

PAUL THE ONLY PASTOR MOST OF THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCHES HAD EVER KNOWN

DEFINES HIMSELF AS A PRISONER IN CHAINS

PAUL THE ONE WHO TOLD THE CHURCH AT ROME IN THE 8TH CHAPTER

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after

the Spirit.

(28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according

to his purpose.

(31) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

AND THAT NOTHING SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD
