If God is for us who can stand against us.

Good morning everyone . Today i want to talk about that special someone at work , or school for some of us, the person who you just

want to avoid at all cost . The one you are sure doesn’t know Christ and never will. The one who pushes every button he/she can just to set you off . The one who wants to see you mess up and sin just to put you down for it. Also, the one who you are scared of . The one you are sure can never know the Lord .The one that you pass up as un-saveable .

These people we all know , they are in our lives every week . We are scared of them for what they might say or do to or against us if we share Christ with them or just be friendly to them . As you know , Jesus sat with the sinners and said "were ever I am welcome, there will I be." We welcome Jesus in our lives but yet when we are around these people we seem to lose Him .

Turn in your Bibles to Mathew 10:24-25. Jesus tells everyone that " A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the student to be like his teacher , and a servant like his master. If the head of the house (or body) has been Beelzebub, how much more the members of his household. " Let’s look at this , if a student can not be above his teacher or a servant above his master but can be equals then when we ,who are given the powers from Heaven ,come up against Satan can bind him up and cast him out and away from us threw the power of Jesus Christ who dwells with in us , then how much more can we do the same with those that we have talked about just a few seconds ago.

Think about this If we can have power over Satan threw Jesus Christ just as Mark16:15-18 "He said to them ,"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is

baptized will be saved , but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe : In my name they will drive out demons : they will speak in new tongues: they will pick up snakes with their hands: and when they drink deadly poison ,it will not hurt them at all: they will place their hands on sick people , and they will get well." In Mathew 17:20 Jesus says "... nothing is impossible for you ." When we are saved we are given these powers , these gifts , from Jesus ,if we only have faith ,we can do all things in Him and His name.

So you are saying ".. well I have faith ,but this person persecutes me or makes fun of me because I’m a Christian . You may be saying that this person will reject me if I try to bring Christ to them . This person is un-saveable , he will never come to Christ . Or, you may say I’m not going to talk to this person for what they have done to me or others . If a murder is never shown Jesus how can he be redeemed . Worst yet , If a mass murderer is not shown the love of Jesus then he will burn in Hell fire for eternity. These people are sinners , what about the ones you just thought about earlier ? Are they just as bad ? Are they worst then a murderer ? Remember that ALL sin is seen as the same before the eyes of the Lord . That little white lie you told your spouse this morning when they asked " does this outfit make me look fat ?" or when you said " yes that shirt goes with those pants." all knowing that both were lies so as to not offend them .

Those are sins . They are no different than a mass murderer before the eyes of the Lord . We are no different than anyone else when we sin . Yes we are forgiven because we have Christ in our lives . What about those that don’t ? Jesus wants them just as He

wanted you when you came to know Him . He put someone in your life that planted that seed in you for you to start thinking about Jesus . Eventually you came to ask Jesus into your life . The Heavens rejoiced when you became saved , they want to rejoice for that person also .
