Summary: Think back to days of your life that have a special meaning.

I REMEMBER THE DAY

There are four great days in the life of a Christian.

(1) The day of our Salvation.

Luke 19: 9And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

(2) The day of death

Phil. 1: 21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

(3) The of Glorification.

2nd Thess: 1: 10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

(4) The Day of Judgment

2 Peter 1: 9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

A. The beginning of Christian life.

2 Cor 5: 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

B. The being made like Christ.

1 John 3: 3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

C. The Christ rejecter’s doom

Rev: 20: 11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
