I have a sword
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Jdg 8:20 And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up, and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet a youth.
1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

His word tears down barriers and walls
And builds up minds hearts and estemm

Matt 4:4 - Jesus: "It is written: ’Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’"
People need more than bread for their life; we must feed on every Word of God.
The truth transforms us.
Imagine the Power of God’s Word - in Genesis, things come into being - not by His hands, but His spoken Word. He speaks, and there was light!
There is POWER in the Word - power to change lives.
When God creates, He just SPEAKS forth. Jesus needs only to say, BE HEALED... and things change. When we read, believe and act on God’s Word, we experience a CHANGE.
Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that (feareth) the commandment shall be rewarded.

immersion, submersion (of vessels sunk) to dip repeatedly
2) to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one’s self, bathe
This process is affected by repeatedly applying Gods word and Gods thoughts in the place of our own.
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and (continueth) therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(This is what is known as abiding in the word).
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
*The word of God is only the sword of the spirit in your behalf when it is coming out of your spirit, Only that word which has taken root in your spirit producing faith has any power when it comes out of your mouth. (Quoting scriptures is not the sword of the spirit).
2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
*The word of God will never be the sword of the spirit in your behalf until it becomes God speaking to you personally, It must become your life source.

The word is milk to the baby (1Pet 2:24) As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word.

(Heb 5:14) Strong meat belongeth to those who have their senses excercised by reason of use to discern both good and evil.
