I Am Who I Am!

I AM WHO I AM!

Exodus 3:14”God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

I opened today’s News Papers and the caption that I read was ‘ Unleash the party animal in you!’ Someone said: ‘ what’s a party without getting a little …um…high?’ Well, a new app called ‘Mission Smart ride’ helps people to ride back home from bar and parties without police menace. So much planning! So much spending! So much guffawing over the beginning of a New Year! You know what, these guys who plan for the mid-night party days ahead drop depleted, exhausted and washed out the next day, whereas when people of God start the New Year in the Sanctuary of God with praise and His promises - we come out charged, energized, revitalized, revived and rejuvenated! I’m excited as I write this! Glory to God!

Truth be said, for many of us uncertainty, anxiety, insecurity, angst and what not hangs over us as we usher into this new year; however, we don’t have to drown our fear with champagne or vain partying, God today looks at each one of you and says, ‘ I AM WHO I AM!’ The God of Moses is with you! Fear not! Despair not! Worry not!

Imagine spending forty years in the desert after 40 years of palace life! Such was the life of Moses when God spoke to him from a burning bush and called him for a new beginning with a new project! Do you think it was easy for Moses? Never. He tried to duck but God looked at Moses and said: I AM WHO I AM! Catch the Big Daddy’s Hands and I will take you through was the simple meaning of this! Boy! That makes us feel great! Isn’t?

If you feel incapable to meet the high standards of God and you’re feeling shaky and wobbly, God looks at you and says, ‘just stay close and hold my Hands, that’s it, because He is ‘ I AM WHO I AM!

Do you feel restless and impatient, trust Him who will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3)

Are you feeling weak and feeble, then just remember you have the Everlasting Arms of God you can trust and hold that would never ever forsake you! Hurray! Open your arms to Him for a new beginning in your life! Throw the garbage away, throw anger and envy away, throw bitterness and resentment away; allow God to cleanse and make you new! God bless you!
