VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Every human priests stands daily offering the same sacrifices over and over again

"Furthermore, every [human] priest stands [at his altar of service] ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again,"

Required by the Law that two male lambs be offered daily for a continual burnt offering.

Numbers 28:3 (Amplified Bible)

28:3 And you shall say to the people, This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without spot or blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.

Numbers 29:6 (Amplified Bible)

29:6 These are in addition to the burnt offering of the new moon and its cereal offering, and the daily burnt offering and its cereal offering, and their drink offerings, according to the ordinance for them, for a pleasant and soothing fragrance, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Luke 1:9-10 (Amplified Bible)

1:9 As was the custom of the priesthood, it fell to him by lot to enter [the sanctuary of] the temple of the Lord and burn incense.

1:10 And all the throng of people were praying outside [in the court] at the hour of incense [burning].

Compare and notice that human priests unlike CHRIST stands daily to offer sacrifices while CHRIST sat down at the right hand of GOD.

Hebrews 10:11 (New King James Version)

10:11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

Hebrews 10:12 (New King James Version)

10:12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

Hebrews 12:2 (New King James Version)

12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

B. These sacrifices can never take sins away

"which never are able to strip [from every side of us] the sins [that envelop us] and take them away—"

Hebrews 10:4 (Amplified Bible)

10:4 Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away.

Psalms 50:8-13 (Amplified Bible)

50:8 I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; your burnt offerings are continually before Me.

50:9 I will accept no bull from your house nor he-goat out of your folds.

50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills or upon the mountains where thousands are.

50:11 I know and am acquainted with all the birds of the mountains, and the wild animals of the field are Mine and are with Me, in My mind.

50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are Mine.

50:13 Shall I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Isaiah 1:11 (Amplified Bible)

1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats [without righteousness].

GOD desires the salvation of the people but since it is required that the payment of sins is death, GOD can't allow the people that He loved to die for their sins so He made a substitute, an innocent animal.
