HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR DIVINE BREAKTHROUGHS

INTRODUCTION:

Everyone desires a breakthrough — a moment when the tide turns, when long-awaited change manifests. Divine breakthroughs go beyond human effort; they are supernatural interventions that shift circumstances, rewrite stories, and bring glory to God. But breakthroughs do not come randomly; they require preparation and positioning. The Bible is filled with accounts of people who encountered divine breakthroughs because they aligned themselves with God’s will and direction.

To position oneself for divine breakthrough means to align your thoughts, actions, faith, and timing with God's plan. It’s about being spiritually sensitive, ready to move when God speaks, and obedient even when the circumstances look impossible. Many people miss their breakthrough because they are either out of position or operating in disobedience.

This message will explore key biblical principles and steps that ensure you are rightly positioned for a divine breakthrough. These are not mere theories but spiritual laws backed by Scripture and proven through the lives of faithful men and women in the Bible. 1. WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS

a) God honours obedience above sacrifice

b) Instructions precede manifestations

(John 2:5) Miracles are often released when we follow divine instructions, no matter how simple.

c) Partial obedience is disobedience

5. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT ASSOCIATIONS

Your company affects your divine alignment and access to breakthroughs.

a) Bad company corrupts good character

(1 Corinthians 15:33) The wrong people can poison your faith.

b) Divine connections bring divine directions

(1 Kings 17:8-16) Elijah’s presence brought breakthrough to the widow.

c) Agreement amplifies spiritual power

(Matthew 18:19-20) When you walk with people of faith, results multiply.

(Proverbs 27:17) The right relationships keep you sharp and in line.

Biblical Example: Jonathan’s alliance with David encouraged and preserved David for his divine breakthrough (1 Samuel 20:16-17).
