Exodus 3:1-5

1. You have to be in the right Place. vs 1 mountain of God

Moses led those sheep about 25 miles to get to the Mt of God

There were pastures close by Jethro’s place in Midian.

Prov 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me

early shall find me.

2. You have to be a willing Participant vs 3 I will now turn aside

Curiosity might have made you stop and look but how many

would have stayed?

Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of

the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the

earth.

3. You have to be Patient vs 4. Here am I

I wonder how many of us would have said.” Well it’s about time”

How many would have just started rattling off all our concerns,

Wants, fears, desires, and even our own brand of logic?

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their

strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall

run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

4. You have to be Pliant. vs 5 put off thy

Answer this question for me, Why should God take the time

to talk to you? Why should He stop what He’s doing,

put the universe on hold, and talk to you?

You ever try to advise someone on the best course of action for

them while knowing the whole time that they were not

going to take your advice?

Ever get to the point where you just say, What’s the point?

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my

saying, he shall never see death.

Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall

enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of

my Father which is in heaven.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the

sons of God.

Jn 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them

not, because ye are not of God.
