Having Favor With God and Man. June 20, 2005

(Eph 3:20 KJV) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

I believe God desires to bless us more than we can ask or think. To obtain this I believe we need to declare each day if it is necessary what God says to us through His Word. Remember what Paul said in (Rom 10:8 KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; We need to begin to say what God’s says about us. I have a list of His promises to us, that we need to believe and declare His favor towards us. Please try to say what God says about you, rather than your thoughts, doubts and fears that come from the devil. Here are twelve truths that God wants you to know, believe and declare HIS FAVOR TO YOU.

I. The Lord helps me to guard the door of my mouth and trains me not to speak against His favor at work in my life. (Psalm 14:3, AMP)

II. I will not allow any corrupt communication to proceed out of my mouth. Instead, I will speak only that which is good, full of grace and edifying to others. (Ephesians 4:29)

III. As the righteousness of God, (2 COR 5:21) I declare that I am highly favored in God’s sight. (Job 33:26, AMP) (Psa 5:12 KJV) For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. (Prov 14:9 KJV) Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

IV. Like Joseph I can prosper in every place and in every situation I find myself, because the Lord is always with me. I too, experience preferential treatment.

(Gen 39:4 KJV) And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. (Gen 39:5 KJV) (Gen 39:21 KJV) But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

V. I am blessed and highly favored. (Luke 1:28 KJV) And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

VI. I associate with those who are blessed and highly favored so that I may increase in ever area of my life.

(Gen 30:27 KJV) And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.

VII. I operate in integrity, as a result, I obtain favor from God.

(Prov 11:27 KJV) He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. (Prov 12:2 KJV) A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

VIII. I actively seek and live by God’s wisdom; therefore, I am highly favored and esteemed in the sight of God and men.

(Prov 3:1 KJV) My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

(Prov 8:33 KJV) Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 8:35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

IX. God’s favor brings promotion and causes me to increase daily.

(Esther 2:17 17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

(Psa 75:6 KJV) For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

X. The Lord takes pleasure in my prosperity. He desires for me to prosper in every area of my life-spiritually, financially, emotionally, physically, mentally and socially.

(Psa 35:27 KJV) Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
