HOW TO GAIN AND CELEBRATE THE VICTORY
Introduction:

1. All of us are waiting for the final chord to be played and final song to be sung.
2. It is God’s desire and design for each of us to gain and celebrate true victory in our lives.
T. S. In order for there to be true victory in our lives, there are several tried and true principles that we need to understand and apply in our lives.
I. WE MUST STAND ON THE RELIANT WORD OF GOD (15:1-2)
The beast is coming to the future. The world order is just around the corner of time. Your privacy is less secure with each passing month. Even though the Beast is marching throughout the land during this time, people have obtained the victory in their lives.
The “sea of glass” is not talking about a large ocean, but a laver or great basin in Solomon’s temple (1 Kgs. 7). This laver or basin symbolized the Word of God. In Eph. 5:26, the Lord washes our lives through the Word of God.
In the past, priests washed in the Word of God, but in the Revelation, it has crystallized (Rev. 4:6) and they stand upon it. We need to see them standing upon the Word of God.
When we read the Bible, this gives us knowledge about God. However, obeying the Bible gives us knowledge of God.
We will gain and keep the victory, when we learn to stand on the sea of glass or the Word of God.

II. WE NEED TO SING OF THE REDEEMING WORKS OF GOD (Rev. 15: 3)
We must not allow anyone to rob us of the song that God has put in our hearts. Our text reveals the two songs that multitudes will sing. One song is the Song of Moses and other song is the Song of the Lamb.
The Song of Moses is the first recorded song in the Bible and the Song of the Lamb is the last recorded song in the Bible. Both of these songs speak of redemption.
Listen to the songs of people or a culture you will know what is in people’s hearts. We have something and someone to sing about. If you do not sing, then you will not have victory. It is praise that precedes and comes after victory. Thus, we have no excuse for singing and praising our great God.
When Israel was going into the Promise Land, the tribe of Judah entered in first. The reason Judah entered into Canaan first because Judah means “praise.”
There are as many commands to “sing” as there commands to “pray.”

If you have some problems, pull some of the groans out of your prayers and shove in some hallaijuahs. When we begin to praise and sing to the Lord, victory is just around the corner.
III. WE NEED TO SEE THE RIGHTEOUS WRATH OF GOD (Rev. 15: 4-8)
We are able to celebrate victory because we know all sin will be judged. When we look around the world and see all of the violence, child abuse, law-breakers, drugs, prostitution, arson, blasphemy, pornography, war, bloodshed, and injustice, we may say, “Where is God?” Where is the justice?
All sin will be judged. Our sin will either be punished by God or pardoned by Christ. There is coming a day, when God will put the final period behind final sentence of human history.
This is the point when God will ultimately judge this world. Even though it may look like the judgment is not coming, please be assured that the day is coming when the kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Christ.
We have come to the time when God’s Super Bowls will be poured out upon this earth.
A. Contagious Sores (16:1-2)
B. Contaminated Seas (16:3)
C. Corrupted Streams (16:4)
D. Consuming Sun (16:8-9)
E. Confounded Sinners (16:10-11)
F. Controlling Spirits (16:12-16)
The Euphrates River dries up. This river is the dividing line between the near east and Far East. This river is more than 1,800 miles long. This river flows down to modern Iraq.
G. Catalytic Shaking (16:17-21)
This is the mother of all earthquakes. The entire world shakes under the holy hand of God. We will never have ultimate victory unless God judges completely sin.
Conclusion:
1. There are three cups to drink in this life. The first cup Jesus took with him and drank it on the cross. This cup contained the sins of the world. The second cup is the cup of salvation. The third cup is the cup of the wrath of God.
2. Our sins will either be pardoned by Christ or punished in hell.
