How Is Your Memory?

Summary: Forgetting me is of no consequence, forget God and you will never get over it.
HOW IS YOUR MEMORY?
Deut 8:11
11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
HAVE YOU EVER GOT UP AND WENT INTO A ROOM TO GET SOMETHING AND WHEN YOU GOT THERE YOU FORGOT WHAT YOU WERE GOING AFTER?
HAVE YOU EVER FORGOT CERTAIN DETAILS OF A PROJECT OR IN WHAT ORDER SOMETHING WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TOGETHER OR IN WHAT ORDER YOU WERE TO DO SOMETHING TO GET IT RIGHT, EVEN AFTER EXAMINING THE INSTRUCTIONS?
IT’S NOT ONLY FRUSTRATING, BUT IT’S COSTLY AND SOME TIMES DEVASTATING AND DESTRUCTIVE.
HOW DO MEAN?
WHAT ABOUT IN THE SPIRITUAL SENSE? JUST BECAUSE WE FORGET TO DO SOMETHING DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE FREE AND CLEAR OF THE RESPONSIBILITY. THE END RESULTS HAVE NOT BEEN REACHED, THEREFOR THE JOB IS NOT COMPLETED.
E.G. WHAT GOD HAS ASK, OR CALLED US TO DO
1. LIVE FOR HIM.
2. FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM.
3. GIVE TO HIM.
4. WITTNESS FOR HIM.
5. TRUST HIM. (Sometimes our actions are questionable.)
6. FULFILL OUR PROMISES TO HIM.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, (and not a doer), he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Ps 119:15-17
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: (I will not forget) thy word.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Ps 63:3-8
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When (I remember thee) upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
A GREAT MIND IS ONE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and (bring all things to your remembrance), whatsoever I have said unto you.
Josh 1:8
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
We will always forget some things but make sure that you never forget what you main purpose in this life is, and that is to serve God with all your heart.
Don’t forget, this life is only preparation ground for the next one to come.
